Mr Karat and his party, if they had their way, would like to scarp India Constitution and replace it with a constitution drafted on the basis of Chinese Constitution (if they have one !!). Then the only reason for the left to oppose the agreement is because India would become stronger and could plan higher energy availability for people and industry with help from 'Imperialist' USA; AND THEY WANT CHINA TO REMAIN SUPREME IN THIS REGION.
