The Indian citizens are not at all kept informed about the pros & cons of the proposed Nuclear Agreement with USA by the media. As a patriot I wish to firmly express the proposed Nuclear Agreement is detremental to India's interest. The argument in favour of the Nuclear Agreement is that we need Nuclear power production to be increased to meet the demand. Note, India produce 66% by thermal power, 26% by hydel power & 3% by Nuclear Power. If this 3% to be increased to 6%, India needs additinal Rs. 50,000/- crores. It will be wise to increase other 2 modes of of power production than expensive & dangerous nuclear power, is not ? By pledging to USA our 14 nuclear plants and production will be under their scanner and our sovereinty & independence are pledged. India will never have freedom for nuclear test.
