RE:Eminent Dr.Kalam
by palash ghosh on Aug 14, 2008 12:50 PM

Mr Kalam is an eminent scietist.
But I strongly disagree to the fact he is a visionary/statesman or a person who can change India fundamentally .
He is a person much hyped by the media and popular amongst the middle class and cyber collies who shares his vision about India fast becoming a global power.
But I think he has no concrete solution to India remedies.
HE talks of providing Urban amenitis to rural areas to rid India of its poverty.
MY simple question is --Is there no poverty in Urban India.
Has he not seen slums in Mumbai and other cities.
How does he propose to deal with problems like illiteracy ,corruption and fundamentalism and farmer suicides.
