English is very funny language. You will not find most of Hindi translations in English. The fact is that there is no English translation of Dharam. The English word is Religion. But Religion and Dharam are two different words with different meanings. In Hindi, we call Religion as 'Sampradya', like Hindu 'Sampradya', Muslim 'Sampradya', Christian 'Sampradya'etc., whereas in English, we will say Hindu Religion, Muslim Religion or Christian Religion. Dharam is world associated with Mankind. For example, 'Humanity is mankind', no one will say 'Humanity is Religion', but the same if you have to convey in Hindi, then the correct phrase in Hindi will be 'Manavta Hi Dharam Hai'. No one will say ' Manavata Hi 'Sampradya' Hai'. Therefore, Dharam is uniform word, associated to all Human Beings irrespective of any Professions, Religions. In view of the same, no one can separate Dharam even from Politics. Today's context of Politics doesnot contain Dharam, that's why Politics has been criminalized. But today's politician, without analysing anything are commenting. Worship is a private. Who is stopping the same ? I think nobody is stopping. Everyone are free to worship in India as per their faith. In a broader sense, if we take the meaning of Religion as Dharam in English, then Religion has to be mixed with Politics to make Politics more holy.
