It is shocking to say the least. The maount of hatred that has been spewed in the comments below is simply SHOCKING. Sonia Gandhi is as much Indian as any one of us. And how are these people commenting on partition? If Hindus were killed during that time, so were Muslims and till today they are being persecuted in India. I am neither Muslim nor Hindu and thank God for that! Has anyone of you ever done anything to spread the message of love and peace and think beyond your pseudo-patriotism? None of you will even help your neighbour, forget saving your country. Let me assure you, I am neither a Gandhian nor do I like the congress, but the BJP and its likes are worse for India. Do try and go beyond your religion to see how our pople really suffer. Try organising a programme where you give at least half of your money to charity and then, maybe, your hatred for your fellow beings will come down. Try doing something for your country or just your neighbour before you start questioning the decisions made by our former leaders. If you think you can do a better job, then get up and do it. Don't just stand aorund like we do in India during an accident or a fight "to watch the fun" and "criticise". Do soemthing and if oyu cannot spread positive ideology and the word of love, try, at least try, not to spread hatred.
