RE:Sorry Plight...

Dear Shri Rangaswamy,
I am a peace-loving Indian inasmuch as showing utmost tolerance to my christian, muslim and sikh neighbours to coexist with me. My magnanimity towards other communities in enabling them practise their faith with full freedom does not mean that I am meek, submissive and that I want to play to the galleries - which is what the great national party of India - the Congress - has successfully achieved in 60 years. Today, in a majority hindu nation, I have to think 10 times before declaring my faith uninhibitedly. What a shame! I fully endorse your thoughts and let all Hindus shun their pseudo-secularistic credentials and declare boldly what they mean to profess. If this honorable attitude is portrayed as "fundamentalist-streak", it is a pity. But, I am sure this is what all non-hindu brethren will try to project. Hypocrites, many of us are, we have no shame in subjugating ourselves before other faiths when we live in alien lands and we also applaud other nationals for their courage to practise their faith openly!
