the verse is "shoodra, ganwar, dhol, pashu, naari, ye sab taadan ke adhikari" means lower caste people, illiterates, Drum(instrument), animal and women, they all should be under surveilance all the time....your point is very valid but the thing is that western women have the confidence and ego to carry themselves even without a man in their lives....where as Indian women they need a man but want to portray an image where they are seen as independent and emancipated.....its a fact that more girls in India than boys are induldging in pre marital sex, they have to understand one thing and that is that whether its the knife falling on a pumpkin or the pumpkin on the knife...what gets sliced is well known....
