The truth aboutt Aurangzeb
by Dhunvavwala Mohamed Soeb on Mar 06, 2007 08:21 AM

I dont have any keen interest in History, nor I have much knowledge on it. Here is what I think:

1. If he was so cruel, during his reign of 50 yrs he could have wiped out all the non-muslims.
2. Today India has muslims in minority, if this history abt the cruelty is correct, then I dont think India can have muslims in minority. This proves that no force was used. Converting somebody by force does not mean anything, such a muslim is not a muslim at all.
3. For all the discussions that I have seen on such topics, I think what the main target is to somehow convince muslims to convert back to Hinduism?? Seeing all the text messages, this feeling appears.

My Suggestion : How easy is to divide the indian on the name of the religion, India is secular, seems now to be holding good only in books. The main point of our discussion should be how to keep our developement going, trust me things like this will only hinder our development and is not going to take us anywhere. As a true Indian my appeal to all the Indians, open up ur minds and spend time on something constructive. - Mohamed Soeb Dhunvavwala
