building relations is always good..keep doing it...but in mean time discover and develope our own gas and oil fields..rest whole world is investing in reseach of new form enery ...so best for india in long run is to invest heavily on reseach on new enegy methods,rest india should also invest in some unconventional energy forms like wind energy,solar energy,hydro...which can alteast cover domestic need and save the rest of the forms for industrial and other heavy consumers.
