She is Indian-American. You can't deny that. Just as blacks here are African-American eventhough their ancestors came to the US centuries ago, Americans with their roots in India are Indian-Amricans. If you don't want to be proud of her success, that's your choice. I don't have any problem with that. Also a correction that only her father is from India, her mother is American.
