secularism does in no way mean"every religion should have full freedom and every person should be free to do actions as per his religion" Please just look up dictionary! The above description is your perception and not truth!
Secular/secularism means of not religious/religion
This is a situation where the state does not take cognisance of the religious bent of the individuals to formulate laws that will be humane and will help most people.For example the sati practice was stopped by enacting laws is a secular approach.Good, but allowing the tip chopped fellas to marry 4 women at a time is NOT a secular idea. Please let us know how allowing polygamy is a secular act where as questioning this is a communal act? How a caste based reservation and religion based reservation is an honourable secular act where as questioning the very basis of this practice is communal?
