The cost of uranium mining, refining, enriching all produces lot of wastes and uses fossil fuel.
Can think about the fossil fuels burned in traffic jams and signals. Also remember that the engines, which are used in our vehicles, are less that 20% efficient. That is 80% of the energy is getting wasted. If we have good electric vehicles, which works at 80% efficiency we can save a lot of fossil fuel.
My question is why we have to spent our money to Americans to get this costliest electricity? I think they want their money back from us, which we got from IT and ITES outsourcing.
