I have gone through your article minutely and I strongly (and very strongly disapprove) of your view that Sanjoy Dutt did a great job of spreading the name of Gandhi. I think he should be grateful that a film director could him to play the role !! In fact Sanjoy Dutt -- in his real life -- would make our Bapu turn in his grave. Drugs, driving into pedestricians, drinking, bawdy party behaviour -- the list is endless. Lets say Sanjoy Dutt has used the Bapu's name to his advantage and you are acting as his apostle !!!!!
I do not know whether you know the Dutt's or whether you have any other reason to write just utter rubbish. Please as a journalist do not use your role to mislead audiences in the West with such sweet words that Sanjoy Dutt is a Gandhian. You should say that he is a spoiled brat -- who by his own choice breaks the law. I also think that you owe your readers -- especially in the West-- an apology for misleading them.
