Avoid US at all costs. Its aim is balkanisation of India, from support to punjab insurgency to north east to naxals and maoists to arming pakistan. It is also fianancing mass coversions of Indians to christianity to create future social strife.
Neither friendship is good with US, nor enmity. The best way is to keep it at an arm's lenght.
