Sachar Findings - How ''Sach'' hai, ye Sachar?
by Ananda Ganesh on Dec 15, 2006 11:51 AM

Sonia's Sachar commission discovered poverty of Muslims. Muslim's current plight is due to the fact that they are poor even before they become Muslims.
And once they become Muslims, Islam's oppressive and backward idealogy suppress any liberal, progressive voice, and retain the Muslim people poor, and whenever possible to worse. Women are discouraged to get educated, and no freedom either from the legal process. When women of a community is oppressed that community can never grow up. And as long as Muslims follow Islam they can never see a glint of light in their poverty.
Being this the case, the Islamic leaders are asking for more cut not to improve their kinsmen's plight but to expand their power. Poverty is common in all the Indian communities, also the impoverishment of development. But, a poor hindu can become rich as his religion is liberal and progressive. Not with Islam. It is time Muslims understand that the cause lies squarely on their religion and the solution clearly lies in crossing over the mound of misery to the green pasture of liberal attitude and accepting the existence of pluralality.
