RE:The Difference in being so...
by Indian Muslim on Dec 25, 2006 12:55 PM

What you mean by MainStream? What the heck is Mainstream? You all just repeat the words of BJP's spokepersons.....You think that Muslims, even if they have the money, don't send their children to English medium schools? YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY WRONG. Only children of poorest muslims go to Madrasas only when they don't have any other option. Madrasas are way better than Indian Government schools and nobody can deny that.
What else is Mainstream? Should we change our names to sanskrit names?
Okay, should we not go to Mosque and Dargahs so that we are in the same stream?
Extremist and fundamentalists are there in every religion....and if you frustrate somebody, always see him with suspicious eye, then you are to blame if he/she chooses extremism
I agree that you cannot clap with one hand. The Muslims in India has not been as receptive to growth and development as others, but IT IS ALSO A BIG TRUTH THAT THEY WERE NOT GIVEN ANY OPPURTUNITY TO GROW AND DEVELOP.
Now, apart from Government, Muslims has the responsibility to develop themself, and don't depend fully depend on govt aid or reservations and think of alternatives ways.
