Short Skirts
by atif on Sep 16, 2005 11:49 AM

I am a fan of sania mirza from hyderabad. My name is Atif Mirza and I am from Hyderabad too.

I strongly disagree with the author of this article. The author says "ong skirts are an impediment for girls playing tennis" thats definitely true however Sania Mirza or any other tennis playing girl can hide their modesty but wearing a scientifically designed suit in which it would be much more easier for the girls in their movement on the tennis court. I guess the author is ignorent of the fact that even in swimming there is a scientifically designed suit by which girls can hide their modesty as per islam. So muslim girls if they want they can definitely play tennis but with required suitable clothing which doesnt reveal their modesty.

We r living in 21st century and if one wants can adapt to any kind of situation, in this case one can easily design a good dress suitable for muslim girls for playing tennis.

All in all the fact remains that its not acceptable in islam to run about on court in short skirts.

Even Sania Mirza has agreed that wearing short skirts is not allowed in Islam and she says its a wrong thing.

So Mr. Author just think before u write......
