Indian companies having 360 degrees feedback? You only hear about it but there is no way to see it. Coz it doesn't exist. Especially companies like Tata enforce more of an authoritative way of management sending the message "Boss is always correct". It is not just the boss, the higher management has to understand the importance of 360 degrees feedback. There is this EGO which kills appreciation of the fact that there is a smart chap out there who can outwit bosses.
