High salary in UK in terms of Rupees means nothing. You have pay about 30 percent as tax. Then your tiny flat cost you 70 percent of your net income per month. You end up with such a small money you have to count whether you will drink tea or coffee to save money. People in Britain are really poor, they dress poorly as they cannot afford better.
I have worked for an American MMC in London, I had to go there at 7.30 in the morning, I had to stay until 10 pm. I had to take work home for the weekend. There is no overtime. even then they can sack you because your unit may not be earning enough profit.
They take bllod out of you in UK. Indian living standards are much better. In UK, they are at all educated. Most programmers do not know any mathematics at all. They may not have even ordinary graguation degree from a college. Most of them are high school graduate with one year Diploma in IT. They cannot do anything related to mathematics, that is the reason they give these projects to the Russians/Indian/Chinese.
