I had to accept a mobile phone a few years ago -- my children brainwashed me that I could not manage without it in this modern age. It really gets handy for remote calling and sending and receiving short messages. But,sir, I never ever tried to check how its calculator functions. Lately it so happened: I received an offer of listening 30 songs for Rs. 30/- a month. Instantly I ignored it, the way I ignored many such offers(?) before. Suddenly I discovered that the amount had been deducted from my balance. I contacted the number and told a vernacular speaking lady to put the amount back to my account since I am not interested in their songs. I made an SMS also to that number demanding my money back. Everything went in vain. I then called the 'customer care'. The customer care executive advised me to wait, when he would be connecting me to his supervisor. I waited patiently for quite some time and then there was 'engage' sound. I connected the customer care again, immediately. Again there was computerised voice and again many pressing of buttons and listening to her monotone. Then again came the voice of the live customer care executive.
