indian engineers
by radhika on Dec 09, 2004 03:26 PM

I always wondered why Indian engineers from likes of IIT's (and others) directly move directly on to pursuing MBA's!! Whereas in Europe and U.S, an engineer is a well trained technical personnel only out to focus on hard core technical work.
The IIT'ians I spoke to said they did not learn much during their study there. Infact, an electrical engineer from IIT-Delhi said at the end of the four years, he wasn't trained well enough to know properly the points of an electrical circuit.
So guess if IIT'ians haven't done the job well, what can we expect for the rest of the engineering colleges!!
