1. They picked up sehwag, Uthapa, Dhoni, and like this so many Hitters but not a single Player like Dravid (Wall) when india needs to stay on wicket they miss laxman. You may consider Ganguly and Tendulkar as stroke player so they must have either sehwag or uthapa or they can include laxman by replacing karthik.
2. They give us a poor captain. Remember Dravid is a follower and not the leader. Dravid is a great batsman but doesnt have a single quality of leadership. The crieteria of selecting a captain was Wrong. A horse can not win a race if the jockey is incapable to win.
Now wait and watch whether selectors take the responsibility or not like Pakistan.

All sponsor ship to be through control board, Any player who signed with ICCB should be restricted to give any type of buisiness directly or indirectly during the time of his signed period.AS all or restricted to do advt and brand ambassadorship directly, income of board will increase so we were able to pay more to players. Also we can give rewards to those who perform well in matches.
Present political leaders(yr favourite guides and gurus of the society) for this defeats and
poor condition of Indian team.
That means here is also the same scinario zone-ism/state-ism etc as taught by the political leaders? Nobody is ready to come out from the illution and try to analyse why and how this is
happened?,What is the root?
One more thing I shd say that Ganguly was selected by the selectors in a very poor condition of Indian Cricket team.And it was proved that his selection was right.But that does not mean he is bound to show good performance in every match otherwise he is a culprit.
Okay, deduct Ganguly again from the team and let see the performance of the team,and hope for the best.

main culprit is ganguly who played big role in defeat against Bangladesh ganguly is selfish, wasted more balls than runs he socred against bangaldesh and trying to sabotage ind capgaign for WC by playing negative cricket. scoring 60 runs in 130 balls and throwing wkt at the 44 th over and running between wkt, unwilling to rotate strike, no singles creating pressure on other batsman - how it will help to team??
What about contribtuion of ganguly to team defeat. First match only he played the negative cricket,scored more runs for self to finish 1000 runs in WC and played main role in defeat against banladesh. dravid anchored the success for ganguly as captain during ganguly's 5 yrs tenure. Before joining team to SA tour,In an interview ganguly told that he will be happy to reciprocate if gets a chance. ganguly and sachin dhoni, yuvraj failed yesterday when team required their service for crucial match India Scored 191 in 50 overs Ganguly Scored 66 runs in 21 overs wasted more balls than runs he scored., Yuvraj Scored 47 runs in 10 overs Rest of team scored 50 in 19 overs Against burmada he scored 89 in 114 balls wasted 25 balls that is around 4.6 runs per over... compare it to the indian teams average of 8.26 Ganguly was struggling while batting against burmuda, and got 3 lifes and unable to find gaps, ( one meaiden over b%u2019cuz of ganguly). Ganguly is playing self, negative cricket and not helping team cuase tried to save his wkt playing as if it is test and scored runs for himself. sewag's 100 helped the team to build a big total agianst bermuda, and win the match with good runrate even agaisnt burmada, he got 3 life but his run rate is 4.6 while team average is 8.1 Ganguly played to save his wkt,struggled thorught both innings and unable find gaps.ganguly Wasted 50% balls he faced, and unwilling to take singles, rotate strike,and creating pressurer on batsman on other side, slow runrate, poor running between wkt, etc his defensive attitude did not help team by scoring highest nos runs me made sure nobody will tak his name but the negative cricket he is playing for self, is not helping team Ganguly is l bent to sabotage Indian campaign in WC

Thanks with analyst like U around we know why India got out in the 1sr round. Understand what U R speaking. Gabguly is a sidelined foot soilder today. Problem is with your coach, your spineless captain.. who runs the show. Next problem are the fallen heroes like Sachin.. for whom the bombay lobby goes all around gaga. If Ganguly had the capability that you are taking about, what was other team members and management doing? Or is it you who only realised this?

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU SUMAN, THE DEFEAT AGAINST BANGLADESH LET US DOWN SO MUCH THAT WE WERE UNDER SO MUCH PRESSURE TO WIN AGAINST SRI LANKA. GANGULY IS THE MAIN CULPRIT HE GOT SO MANY CHANCES & DROPPED CATCHES HE STILL DID NOT CAPITALIZE ON THAT. I GUESS SHEULI BOSE IS A KEEP OF GANGULY.

Which one is better? Slow innings from Ganguly and No innings from others? I am a Thamil Brahmin and Not a Bengali, I am hurt the way people criticise Ganguly and bring in regional considerations. I respect all Ganguly supporters whether Bengali or not for their good cricket sense. Only people with good cricket sense can understand the importance of Ganguly. He deserves a special mention. He should be the coach of India after his retirement. Ganguly is the real leader. In his time there was little politics and Kaif Nehra Yuvi Vajji Laxman all were given due importance and all performed. The Captain however sud be Yuvraj. Gangulys World Cup average is 58. something runs. He all along tried to carry the team along, but could not do so in the last match. Still in this tournement he scored 66 plus 89 plus 7 runs equals to 161 runs at an average of 50.36 runs. Dravid could not take the team along. His personal scores in this tournament are 14 plus 7 plus 60 equals to 81 runs at an average of 20.7 runs. Ganguly although not captain can be more effective if given a higher status under captaincy of Yuvraaj in future. Sachin Dravid cannot be given regular chance ot block the places. They should be given chances only on the basis of Ranji games as happened to Ganguly. Ganguly should be kept at a stretch for two years to give a shape to the team irrespective of his performance. But I understand he will perform well. After two years none of Ganguly, Sachin and Dravid should be given any chance.
