The world cup team[TEAM INDIA]should be moved to TEST Team and the new TEAM INDIA should include all under 19 players. Otherwise put all team members into dustbin.
I mean why arent people looking at how Yuvraj got out, uthappa got out that day against srilanka nobody except dravid and sehwag played why few players are being finger pointed. All 3 games the whole team did not do well. Why this finger pointing and specially from politicians.. Nobody wants greg chappel for the nonsense he did not veen the team and dravid isnt strong enough to be a captain....everybody is telling senior players did not play what about younger players like uthappa who failed miserably... irfan and sreesanth were not good enough to get a place in playing 11 and who is batting for RAINA AND KAIF who do not have the capability to score even 10 runs when they were in south africa... would these guys replace Tendulkar and Ganguly ??? this will be the joke of the century. Australian team is winner because its players are matured and also experienced, same is south africa, same is srilanka, same is new zealand ... how can people turn blind to the fact
MR, Nair, before commenting on SACHIN, how many cricketer does your state has produced being termed as most and highly educated state in india. when you are unable to produce a single cricketer to represent india you have no right to comment on. Sachin is not saving himself but the rest of the side as he knows it may affect the careers of many younger players in the side just because of this. yes he has right to say in his 17 years of career he never faced a situation like this. what is the respect we gave him to his dedication and sincerity to the nation? what we did for him when he took single handedly india to finals in last world cup? did we awarded him the "BHARATARATNA". BUT still he enjoyed his cricket hence he played and playing it. look at the everyteam the kind of respect that is been rendered to senior players. we in india just they lost a match unfortunately, and we run death ceremonies to our players. how many countries people were doing like that buring and conducting such ceremonies. winning and losing is a part every sport unless it is not sport and all we needed is sportsman spirit which is lacking in our indian audience.
Really as a cricket fan i am feeling ashamed of what we in the name of national pride did to our greatest ever cricketer of india and world"SIR SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR" LONG live SACHIN.

It is not that Keralites are not entertained in this country. It is all because you never played cricket in earlier days so you dont have a experienced player who can be there in the selection committe.

Look at Aussie, They threw out Steve Waugh One Day when he was at their top and they were champions. We should not look at State and Zones... All I feel is India should win and we should win together no matter from which state they come from. So Please bury all these Kerala Maharashtra Bengal feelings and concentrate on being a champion team. If sachin palayed badly against SL and Bangladesh, Dravid too failed against bangladesh as a batsman. As a captain he failed in all matches. But people don't forget the biggest culprits here CHAPPEL AND PAWAR. REAL POLITICIANS, REAL VILLAINS OF THIS WORLD CUP SACK THEM FIRST, STAY UNITED INDIA AND CHUCK OUT THE GORA MAFIA AND HIS INDIAN HELPER. Wasn't 200 years of rule by the british enough, Now we became rich again so they have come back to loot us again.

Please think once. What is the use of Sachin if he is not playing well in critical matches. We all know that he is the top batsman in the world, who out for a DUCK in a critical match(Vs SriLanka).
We people treating him as a hero and he is not thinking like that. I doesnt agree if you told that he played 17 years for India, what is the use?
But one thing, he mad India proud making more number of centuries and having more runsd in his career.
I suggest sachin to end his career after the next upcoming tournament with Bangladesh.

Long livi sachin at his home.. NOT IN THE CRICKET TEAM. He is the one behind the most of the divided team. He is now crying fowl that "nobody thought what we went through" and all those shit. If at all he was not OK with the coach / captain.. he has to speak out much earlier.. He should not go out to play and show resentment by underperforming. He is by far the most selfish guy in indian cricket (playing only for money and his personal statistics). He will be happy if you give him a lifetime seat in the cricket team and all statistics.
No you are absolutely wrong. Only in Cricket Kerala is lacking because Keralites do not have god fathers like Sachin got. You cannot win by comparing Keralites with others. Keralites are far better in any field compared to others like in Govt, Sports, Army, Education, Health Care, etc.

i am sorry a fool and a media savy coaches comments cannot make sachin bad. The coach broke the code of conduct if ganguly had to leave the team for this thing earlier so should the coach. History repeats itself
In Indian team, coach has limited role I suppose because the players are so arrogant that they are not intrested to learn anything or in otherwards they do not have the brain to learn anything from anybody. They may listen whatever coach will tell but finally they will do what ever they want. Don't worry guys, india team will be like this for ever. They will continue playing with our emotions. there's already a poll which says should dravid remain as a captain FYI. if you dont ike the tide of opinion, maybe you should shift to sify or times, or wherever the going gets good for you! seriously! * as a captain, i doubt dravid's got the same perception of ganguly. when you move confidently, people take you into confidence, regardless whether you are good or not, its human psychology to support a good looking/ or a good sounding leader. ganguly was much more than that - he was effective as a captain too. * dravid surely is a step below in terms of cunning that ganguly had. * somebody here opined that ganguly inherited a wrecked team, and he took it to greater heights. thats absolutely true. but , there's a corollary to it too - dravid inherited a team which was doing good, and to sustain it is difficult . its like a race where if you are not fit - after a while your pace drops. (the fitness part ehre is the bad selection policies and other evils that indian cricket, and indians in general ssuffer from - lack of being organised, or discipline). the same happened to even ganguly, sustaining like aussies demands a very high discipline in every aspect of life and the game. * dravid did fairly well, being like a diplomat, he's prone to indecision, and bad decisions. being a shrewd leader like ganguly, you can always deflect criticism or no one will question you when the going is good and yu have an occasional blip. (by shrewd i dint mean ganguly was bad - but he used the tactics like keeping steve waugh waiting at the toss. that was fabulous, he beat aussies at thier mindgames)

Much is being made out of Ian Chappel's advice to Sachin . It is not that Ian Chappel has voluntarily made the suggestion. Some India would have asked his opinion and he made a comment which is personal and many many fans agree with him. Sachin was great and till recently has been in form contributing to the Indian cause.Since the past 2/3 years his form has left him and he is obviously struggling. It is time he called it a day so that people can recall his performance with pride.
The comment is coming from a real Indian politician. You deserve a special post in BCCI.

Why Amin stick to Srilanka loss. How the players played in Bangladesh, have not you watched that match. What was wrong? Why all most all players collapsed? Do you think Indian players have no potential?
I think Greg Chappel wants to take the credit as a great coach, so only he started this theory of fresh legs. suppose if india wins with the help of tendulkar, ganguly,shewag, doni,laxman,kumble etc all credit goes to players but not to coach. greg wanted to win by sidelining senior players and play with young stirs like kaif,raina,uthappa,powar etc so that greg becomes hero. that is very cruel. and the senior players would have played very well if there were to be a coach who acts like mentor and does not carve for cheap publicity and wanted to become a hero. how can a player play when the coach consistently sends the message to the senior player that india does not need them. also greg is too very cunning to leak and do a character assasination of our players.

No, not true at all. If the above was the case, do you mean to say that players like Sachin, Saurav, Dravid, Harbhajan, Yuvaraj, Zaheer, etc. will hold their nerve and not communicate to the board ? These players hold more weightage than the Coach and think that they are above the game and can get way with what they want. These people are not playing for the country but for themselves and their families. They don't worry about your and my sentiments. They will show sentiments and emotions when chips are down that is what happening now and Sachin himself is trying to get the backing of the public, media, BCCI bosses to hide his and senior cricketers dismal performance. This is nothing but a publicity stunt.

what crap. any coach who has been given an assignment to lead a team to worldcup finals would not want to scuttle it right from the begining. if its him to blame, i'd pin the senior players (including dravid who isnt in form, including ganguly, despite in form dint perform when required, including sachin who hasnt perfromed well), i'd also blame the selectors, the BCCI for mismanagement.
also, chapell hasnt opined publicly about senior players beahving in a particular fashion. if you believe rumours, listen to rumours from both sides!
