Idiots in Indian cricket
by JM on Apr 04, 2007 12:54 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This idiot Narahari Amin should know that the biggest reason for India not doing well in WC is because politicians like him are in control of cricket in India.

do N AMIN knowS how to hold a bat. i think he don't then someone tell him to get coached by greg because he will be able to teach, the foreign chaplus.

Why greg has told dravid to bat first against bangladesh and dravid you don't have drain. those were newly laid pitches when nobody knows how it will behave, you should have opted for field first.

you were (i use the word "were" because you were captain till WC) the captain, you will get bashing india. Try to detach yourself from greg because he is aussie he will not allow INDIA to near to australia in playing terms. TRY TO LEARN FROM SAURAV, HE GAVE STEVE AND AUSTRALIA TIT FOR TAT. WHAT THEY HAD TOLD HE RECIPROCATED WITH SAME VENOM.

Question here is whether Saurav was playing in the best interest of the Team India? Did he played like a team player? What was his motive behind playing so slow, in this world cup?

FYI, it was not Saurav alone who beat Steve Waugh's team. It was the teamwork of all 11 Indian players.

Come on, Whats wrong with what he talked.
Just bcoz he does not know how to bat, it does not mean that he should not manage cricket.

temme how many Project Managers in IT are technical.. ?
Most PMs dont get into details at all but still manage well OR atleast earn a good name.

Facts not Crap, please...

Politicians and cricket just don't mix, so just stay out you guys. The fact is that big money has entered this game in India since the early 90s. Result - Since 1985/86, India has not won a single major cricket world event. In one-dayers, the claim to fame for this present bunch of jokers is winning the NatWest Trophy. For this, the clowns get paid in excess of Rs.10 crores/year, courtesy of endorsements. The Indian team cannot even come close to the Aussies for the simple reason, the Aussies focus on "winning" while our clowns focus on "minting money". How come the Indian team is the richest in the world? Has anyone in the media even raised this? No, they haven't for the simple reason that they're afraid of being blacklisted by the players and the board. Let's see you'll light some fires media boys or is the press really dead?

Its downright pathetic that a team that has no major win in a big tournament over the past 20 years is the richest team in the world. Contrast this to the blokes who won in 1983 and then again in 1985/86. If at all anyone deserved the wealth, those guys did, not these bozos. Reward excellence and commitment in sports, but for God's sake don't assume that making players rich will win games. It will never work. Match fixing already exists, so the excuse of "we gotta pay or they'll sell their souls" doesn't fly either. The cause and effect of the present situation is so simple to most folks, that its amazing that no one in the media is even mentioning it. Is there no "freedom of press" in India anymore?

Zee cricket would be an answer (partly) for the mismanagement of BCCI. Even if they fix matches, at least we see some players who will, otherwise, never get the chance thru BCCI. The media has an option to sponsor some players who are doing well with Zee.
But I have a strong feeling that BCCI will not allow Zee to get ahead with their plans - afterall they need the existing stadiums and facilities to conduct their matches. At least the senior players mafia and the politicians will see to it that Zee will shelve their plans.

I think ZEE wud do well to have their own 2-3 stadiums. With the amount of money they hav it shud not b a big ask 4 them.

Kick all politicians first from BCCI
by anish hazra on Apr 03, 2007 11:42 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What these politicians are doing here? Has this Amin ever played even gulli cricket? These people are basically using the BCCI for raking mullah by hook or crook and also to appear in newspapers and other media and thus spoiling everything. Before removing coach, captain, senior players etc first boot all politicians out from the board. It is really sad that an Amin with no cricket record is judging sachin, rahul, soura etc!

Letz not just go on blaming the politician. Did politicians tell Sachin to get out in the fashion he did against Sri Lanka? No right. Guys its the 11 players who've take pride in playing for the country and not even the coach, selectors, management etc etc. So letz stop blaming anybody other than the players.
