Right time for Sachin to resign
by on Apr 27, 2007 02:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Decent people like Lara, Kumble, Warne are already resigned at the right time. But our little, sorry.. OLD Master Sachin when will resign. He is not doing anything as a 'master'.
Its a big shame for Sachin, better he should resign nowitself.

Its absolutely true, Sachin please resign. Lara/Ponting/Jayasurya are the only great MASTER players, not like you and you are NOT a MASTER batsman.

Team selection for the Bangla tour...
by RAJESH SREEDHARAN on Apr 27, 2007 10:11 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think, still politics is there in Indian team selection. I don't know, why they dropped Sachin and Ganguly from the team for the next series. Dilip Vengsarkar told, they were rested. But, we can not admit that because Ganguly was 'rested' for the last one year and he is playing well now (even if consuming many balls, he is giving a solid start to the team). My question is why they are not resting Dravid as he is "playing" lot of Cricket now a days?
Also, in the case of Virender Sehwag. Now, he is a good test opener who can win the match single handedly for his team. No other test openers (except Hayden) are playing like him...
He won many matches in the recent past. He failed only in the last SA trip. I don't know why the selectors retained him in the one day side (where he was a failure) and dropped from the test team?
What do you say friends?

Selector should kick Dravid out without delay, otherwise INDIAN cricket can not be saved.

By the "Sachin bomb" Greig is burst out of INDIA. Fortunately or unfortunately Sachin
blasted the bomb very lately. If he would have done this 2 years before when for drawing
attention of media and publicity Greg Chappell started talking lot negative about Sachin. That
time Sachin was not even in the team and healing from his surgery. If "Sachin bomb" would have
been blasted two years before, then INDIAN cricket could have been saved from the biggest
mess under Chappell-Dravid combined EVIL force.

Chappell purely came to INDIA to fulfill his mission of cleaning the path of Australia for WC
07 which is to damage INDIAN cricket. All the time Ricky Ponting and Steve Waugh scared of
INDIAN team which only could challenge them in its best day.

After long time gap (after Kapil) probably INDIA got a good bowler, Irfan Pathan.
He had been damaged by Chappell-Dravid Evil combination.

This time team was almost same as 2003 WC. Even Ganguly said this time team is much better than
what he had on 2003. That's due to good wicket keeper-batsman Dhoni.

Ganguly had a bad wicket keeper.

Still INDIA (runner of 2003 WC) lost in the first round under the greatest Captain of INDIA
and World...

INDIA won 1983 WC without foreign coach. Why INDIA needs foreign coach, particularly EVIL
Chappell ?

Moreover Mr. Gum put his gun on other's shoulder. Did he have guts to play an innings
like Kapil Dev in any world cup?

He is Mr. Gum, he never thinks of his strike rate, rather his run average....

In the recent past all gentlemen fellow cricketers resigned from the captaincy without
blaming others, or putting gun on others' shoulders, rather took the blame on himself.

Cheap, shameless Dravid is the only exception and so characterless that he even did not resign
and playing groupism and regionalism!

team india won tests and odis without ganguly under dravid's captiaincy. dravid gave 100% commitment when he played under ganguly but backstabbed by dirty politics of ganguly and his supportes
ganguly is innigns after his comeback for self, saving his wkt and scoring slowly to cement his place for next match, spending time in crease for sponser's cause, not bother to increase run rate , no single or rotating strike pressurising batsman on other end, not bother whether team win or loss, the purpos of ganguly is servied. His poor fielding will cost team 25-30 runs if he scoeds 50 for self and 20 runs for team. He had major role in WC debacle
During ind and SL match , John Writh was commenting told that Sl batsman had to push the ball towards ganguly and easily get 2 runs. the screen was showing ganguly was holding his hands behind hands yawning,,,that time.
he did not bothered to hold a simple catch of Tamim opening batsman of bangladesh during agarkar bowling in match against bangladesh. His return to india not with team or same day next to make it big eveent but was not wearing team uniform.
he is selfish oppertunist politician. He not only promoting groupism, but spoiling sports spirit of youngesters by encouraging them to play petty politics. He betrayed sachin, dalmiay and dravid
harbajan was his chela lost his place in team. it will be difficult for him get back he has no media/ politican's support
Now players will think before they support such politicianc cricketers.

Ganguli todate is best Indian captain!

Azhar was there for 10 years played 2 world cups. I think Ganguli should have got one more chance... He was very close to getting it... I am sure he could have done it this time.

Whatever happened in last 4 years was not good for Inian cricket/

This Does not mean Dravid is bad. He is just not as good!

BS JV, Dravid is the best ever.Dravid is best , he is at least 2 times , if not 3 times, better than Ponting and Steve Waugh, rolled together.
What is Ganguly's record....World Cup Final, 3 champions trophy Finals, 2 Champions semis...now compare that to Brilliant Dravid, exit in the World Cup and Champions Trophy, that too in the First round itself.
So you can see clearly,Dravid is the best captain of this era.
I dont know JV how you could not see Dravid's GREATNESS as a Captain, ask anybody in a Uddipi Cafe in Bangalore, he will tell you, he is even batter than Best!!As a matter of fact he is the Bestest[new word invented] captain ever.

captaining Australia is the easiest thing, captaining India is the toughest. The easiest thing is taken by the most shrewd cricketing brain (ponting) and the toughest thing has gone to the most dumb cricketing brain (Dravid). so results are as expected : why r u people crying !!!

Well said biryani kha ke.

Dravid knows the valus of time. When it is clear that you can't beat aussies in final then why to waste your precious time in playing for more then 6 weeks. better to come out as soon as possible.

If ICC had given an option of getting out from the warm matches itself, Dravid would had simply lost the two warm-up games and could had save two weeks further.

A good leader is he who know the value of time and dravid has this skill bestester then all others.

NEW DELHI: The BCCI President Sharad Pawar on Friday underscored the sorry state of affairs in Indian cricket by disclosing that young players feel that sponsors were influencing the team selection and that there was a complaint that contract of one player was linked to the time he spent at the crease.
"It is an unofficial complaint and if found to be correct, the system needs to be strengthened. So I have asked the players to submit their copies of the old contract," Pawar said in a TV interview.
"There is no hard and fast rule on this. We are very flexible regarding this. We will speak to the players

ganguly batted for sponsers by spending more time in crease, gave more confident to bangladsehi bowlers by wast more balls than runs he scored, build pressure for the batsman by not taking single or rotating strike, gave the catch parctice to opposition filders in 42 over, did not bothered take tamim;s simple catch druing agarkar bowling and gave more runs to bangadesh by poor fielding than the runs he scored for team, major architect to gift match to bangladesh.
He tried the same against bermuda but it did not clicked.
he could not stand aganisn strong bowling SL,
ganguly is most succeful politician and betrayed team and millions fans and made sure his record stat in WC did not harmed and tried to prove dravid not good captian. An deliberate attempt to team ind loose match
ganguly betrayed dalmiay, sachin and now dravid
ganguly is selfish, oppertunitst a cheap politician. He is not only promoting groupism, also spoiling sprots spirit of youngestes by encouraging them to play petty politics.
Now players bajji and dhoni who joined his group lost the place in team. But getting back into team will be difficult task b'cuz many youngsters are knocking team ind door.
By this time all players realised taht playing on the grond will bring reward but not from backstage politics. so no more support to dadas..
dravid gave 100% commitment and performed for team when he played under ganguly but he trusted ganguly sachin dhoni bajji agarkar zzahir like senior players and backfired by same group.
