I think, still politics is there in Indian team selection. I don't know, why they dropped Sachin and Ganguly from the team for the next series. Dilip Vengsarkar told, they were rested. But, we can not admit that because Ganguly was 'rested' for the last one year and he is playing well now (even if consuming many balls, he is giving a solid start to the team). My question is why they are not resting Dravid as he is "playing" lot of Cricket now a days? Also, in the case of Virender Sehwag. Now, he is a good test opener who can win the match single handedly for his team. No other test openers (except Hayden) are playing like him... He won many matches in the recent past. He failed only in the last SA trip. I don't know why the selectors retained him in the one day side (where he was a failure) and dropped from the test team? What do you say friends?
