Now after the Karnataka election Victory, the NDA has a clear upper hand over UPA in 2009 elections. The greatest challenge for BJP is to counter the anti-incumbency in MP, Rajasthan & Chhattisgarh. We shall see before the end of 2008 how well BJP tackles the anti-incumbency in these states. But my sense is that it will retain Chhattisgarh, lose Rajasthan and MP can go either way depending on how many SC votes BSP takes away from Congress. Overall if these predictions come true, NDA is likely to cross 200 mark in 2009 Lok Sabha elections. With the support of 40-45 seats from Mayawati and 20 seats from Jayalalitha, NDA will form a government. So the remote control will go into the hands of the two ambitious ladies from the ideologically rigid left parties.

Jayaji is anything but leftish . She has a national view and is ideologically with the BJP wether on Ramsetu , antiterrorism ,nationalism ,theistic etc
All politicians are scum.. but the Gowda clan takes the cake for being the greater of all the evils (close competition from the Karunadhi clan in neighbouring TN). I hope the next government to fall is the TN government. If the BJP concentrates on development of the state and makes the aam aadmi get his dal chawal roti that would be awesome. Also I hope this government conducts meaningful discussions with Tamilnadu on the kaveri water dispute and brings peace and prosperity to both states.
Never ever caste your vote for congress. See the effect below: 1. High Inflation 2. They encourage the qouta issue and people do take the advantages of this. 3.They are the most corrupted party.
Shameless acts must end and people should not be tortured by the name of politics ....Gowdas were treacherous in their activities and absolutely shameless ...no one should vote them ever.
Finally Karnataka decided on Future.. atleast now I wish the government lost for 5 years. Last 4 years had been nightmare and people fed up with Gowdas. People voted in favoaur of Yeddy as he has been deceived at the end. There was sort of sympathy, which had helped BJP to come to power. Congress could have done better if they behave decent and control the prices.
People being sick and tired of Devagowda and Sons running Karnataka as a family business. Inability of Congress to project a strong CM candidate. So its not BJP that's won, its congress and JDS who have lost. People were looking for alternatives and BJP was the only left over option.
I am definetly happay about Karnatka's results. But plesase remember apart from growth Safety is a serious issue. We have not faced any problems and hence we have no idea about what it is. There are some negative forces which might target Bangalore as we are going to have BJP in power. BJP should take serious note of this factor and give the Home department to the right hands
