Congress has been a a chronic desease India has been facing for many years just like the republican GOVT in the US. Both of them surviving on their past laurels. When ever republicans are in power they really screw up and then democrats come and rectify it. Just like Bill Clinton rectified the huge budget deficit left by Reagan.He even created a surplus.Then democrats put up an ultra liberal on the ticket like Gore and get the republicans elected like Bush and we all know in what kind of state he left USA in.
The defeat of Congress in K'nataka is a timely wake up call for the party. You cannot win elections in a state without identifying upfront a key leader cum potential CM by sitting in Delhi. The common man reacts to what hurts him most, viz. roti, kapada and makaan and the Congress's inability to keep inflation/prices under check is likely to hit it hard during upcoming general elections. Only point in Congress's favour is their record on secularism as against BJP's blatant partisanship but this alone will not help them elections. Congress better wake up to reality ! One SM Krishna alone at the last minute cannot win you the elections. Stop daydreaming and come up with some concrete strategies.
BJP's win in karnataka is a sign for the congress to pack their bags and vacate the government for the BJP. The policies of the congress which since Independence is to keep poor people poor and add more people to the poverty list has been given a thumbs down by the people. the spineless congress government with its anti India, anti development policies, has been finally shown the door. The only achievement of the congress in the last 4 years is to just stay in power, no matter what, so they could fill their coffers and take the country down the drain. They bungled on most of the fronts, from bringing in more reservations and dividing India on the basis of caste, buckling under pressure from the rabidly anti India Chinese parties on the matter of the Nuclear Deal and bringing a loss of face for the country on the international arena, not being able to control prices driving more people below poverty line, giving terrorism a free hand leading to a massive increase in terrorist activities, surrendering to China on every issues leading to a surrender of the Indian sovereignty, driving away Taslema Nasreen to appease minorities, bringing in policies that are against the Hindu majority, and many more. This congress government is a spineless toothless cowardly looters government. This congress is outta karnataka and will be out of the central government as well. The commies and the congress have both bought shame to the country and the time has come to get rid of these garbage.

i support RSS on their firm policy not to allow multinationals operation in trading commodities and making our commodities prices to the par of international prices while these multinationals making good profit at the cost of our peoples paying big prices for essential commodities. upa govt allowed all multinationals to operate in india both in local,wholesale,exports,imports of commodities like wheat,yellow corn,oil seeds edible oil,salt ect which are amoung 143 items that are being trading in online future trading to support these multinationals.man mohan singh is the brainchild for helping these multinationals to loot our peoples hard earned money.prices shot up is due to these multinationals buying and selling in local market of wheat,corn,oils ect ect. australian wheat board, a govt of australian co has offices in india everywhere and buy and sell wheat in india and import and export of wheat in to or from. why govt support these foreign co to operate in india.when govt fixed two years ago procurement prices of wheat at rs 640 per quintal,austaralian wheat board,cargill ect went to farmers to pay rs 850 per quintal and hence prices shoot up automaticaly for next year and we,indian people pay high prices for ups corrupt policies.AWB name is figured in iraq sadam hussain corrupt deals of oil,wheat ect for paying big commissions to sadam.

In the last four years after the 'United' 'Progressive' alliance came to power (As said in the article, the Congress got seven seats more than the BJP and with convenient bed fellows who fought the elections with and against them, came to grab the power out of the people's mandate) sixteen states have gone to polls and the Confgress lost almost all of them, whereas most of them have been won by BJP and/or its allies. Doesn't that mean anything to you, Tamil Arasan? This is not like the 'grand' alliance of Tamil Nadu, again with strange and convenient bed fellows, which 'won' the state elections. And, what did the Goonda Father & Sons (& Co.) deliver to Tamil Nadu other than lawlessness, corruption to the core in all fields of activity, goondaism etc.? Another 'tail' who calls himself 'valan' is opining that the RSS is a terrorist outfit like the Islamic terrorists. We can only pity the ignorance of his likes, or ignore the deliberate 'Geoblesian' tactics! Tamil Arasan can bark as much as he wants. But the fact that BJP won and will be victorious in future can not be denied. True , BJP needs to get rid of bad elements like any other party. But there are also intelligent modern thinking youth in this party who beleive in clean and fair rule as opposed to eye wash populist apeacement. many of them are assertive Hindus and nothing wrong with that.

BJP won by a whisker. Congress vote share was more than BJP ! That is not cause for any great celebration ,atleast like the stuff we are seeing now.lol Moreover in 35 constituencies BJP won by about 5000 votes,which means it won by fluke! It was the central BJP government which approved the Hogganekkal project in 1998. Yediyurappa was the first to protest the project by visting the site in person. He wouldn't have done this without the Central BJP's knowledge. It is the same opportunism as compared to other parties. It hasn't come out just because they haven't ruled the state yet. After five years we will have lots to complain about BJP, especially after the short-lived karnataka's BJP government approving 14 major projects in just a week.

I don't know the details, but I definitely agree with your take on BJP at macro level. They are similar to Congress. Take for example Kargil Episode (we lost 1500 soldiers) and Kandahar. But my question is what alternate do one have. The answer here is to provide life long support to RSS, followed by VHP. I know some people have some complain against VHP. But together we can strengthen RSS and VHP further by adding to their good work/thoughts, and try correct where we think they are lacking.

It appears you don't know anything about RSS and its' ideaology. Basically RSS is meant to unite the disintegrated Hinduism which was divided into thousands of castes. If RSS is against Sikhs and Dalits, how Akalidal has won in Punjab and it is a known fact that without a fraction of dalit votes BJP cannot win good number of seats. In every party people ask about the caste of their fellow party workers but not in RSS. You may not agree with me. It doesnot matter and change my views since I am a Swayamsevak and participated in number of meetings,etc. and seen and met number of state and national leaders of RSS.
