I have heard this statement year after year and it is just sick. First of all there is no common ground for comparison in India between boys and Girls.Girls are confined at homes and they have lesser distractions than the boys. The thing of outperforming must come from who takes the first mark rather than pass percentage.

well said Pal....even i am getting really sick of these kind of news every year...but media never ever publish the news when in a state boys performed better than Girls...so what the boys will do???

how can you generalise and say that girls have lesser distractions while boys more and that girls are confined to homes!!Such a statement sounds funny in 21 century.one can be distracted sitting at home too and if boys feel that their studies are being affected then they should cut down on hang outs n parties. it is just that stereotype minds cannot easily accept that girls outshine boys
The average pass percentage is around 97.5. Can we imagine what is the standard of Indian education? Either all students are good or the ICSE is too good!!
Reason 1) thing is female brain can do or remember many things but not one thing at the deepest level, Till 10th or 12 th we study many subjects but not perticular thing in deepth, So 99.9% scientist are Men, and 90% PA's(Personal Assistants) for mutipurpose work are women... Reason 2) When things are not needed to study to the Depth, just learning basics...U can easily Byhart them,, girls are gud at byharting without understanding. and reproducing at exams.. boys ususally try to understand the matter and try to experiment even during exams...
I think women have a more precautious attitude with fear because of which they have more chances of succeeding in academics. But guys being carefree & fearless tend to achieve lesser in that stage.But the same attitude along with adventurism("mis" as in case of failures),is what needed at higher level to acheive breakthroughs is field of Sceinces.Men are obsinate & passionate about their job where as women care only till they are benifited directly. So one cannot be both at same time. Men are men & women are women.SO we should accept that it is only obvious that women tend to succeed more consistently at academeics which are designed to suit them.Girls care for marks boys only for boys get involved deeper & concentrate less on scoring.
Every body is shouting that aurat aur mard main ab koi farak nehi raha, I think that they are the biggest liar, fraud, fake, pretender, impostor, hypocrite, phony etc. I will list number of things which man can do but women can not do and vise versa.
At their own position they are the best, just stop saying that man is better then women or women are better than man. Both are on top to their own position.
Man can not become mummy and mummy cannot become dad this is the truth.

u r correct.. and explain this to anti-male media.. men-bashing is bcom hobby of liar, fraud, fake, pretender, impostor, hypocrite, phony people and media in india. india is best place in the world...
for last 60 yrs, we have done a lot for women.. we have invested crores for women.. lets govt concentrate on men too.. today men is taking all responsibilities and women r taking all rights.. women is never forced to work, if they enjoy they will work otherwise remain house wife.. its their choice.. men has to work and feed his family.. women has given reservation everywhr frm bus/train to education to employment... women has given huge tax concession.. and still men-hater media bash men for everything.. we have ministry for even animal but not for men.. thn we have gender biased laws which r massively mis-used and r destroying indian families... men r equally important.. we forget that if women is mother than man is father also.. if women is sister than man is brother also.. start respecting men also.. and give equal privileges to men also..
It's sad to read so many articles about men criticising women. Although I am a male I think we all ought to know that we have been born from our mothers womb. And for that sake we need to respect a woman. Only when a man learns to respect his own mother and wife will he be able to respect a woman. Most of the women working today are doing it because of the need of the family. I am happy if a girl outshines a boy cause later even with all the education she has and she does not wotk she is the one who teaches and guides the children at home to become great citizens. If your wife is educated you can bet the children will be better off.

why we respect some1 on the basis of gender.. we shd respect both men n women.. u r giving example of mother and wife.. similarly, i can give u the example of father and husband and respect men on this basis.. the prob is this heading which states girls outperferform boys.. infact truth is boys r better in studies as u can see the result in iits, iims etc... girls normally dont understand things and just do rattafication.. whras boys understand things...
