I think women have a more precautious attitude with fear because of which they have more chances of succeeding in academics. But guys being carefree & fearless tend to achieve lesser in that stage.But the same attitude along with adventurism("mis" as in case of failures),is what needed at higher level to acheive breakthroughs is field of Sceinces.Men are obsinate & passionate about their job where as women care only till they are benifited directly. So one cannot be both at same time. Men are men & women are women.SO we should accept that it is only obvious that women tend to succeed more consistently at academeics which are designed to suit them.Girls care for marks boys only for boys get involved deeper & concentrate less on scoring.
