Negationism
by oppressor on May 16, 2008 12:51 PM  Permalink

Negationism in India - Concealing the Record of Islam is a book by Koenraad Elst published in 1992.

The book attempts to demonstrate that there exists a prohibition of criticism of Islam and a denial of its historic crimes against humanity that amounts to censorship, comparing it to Holocaust denial.

Elst claims that historians of the Aligarh school (e.g. Irfan Habib) or Indian Marxists (e.g. Romila Thapar) have resorted to history-rewriting: "Therefore, in 1982 the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) issued a directive for the rewriting of schoolbooks. Among other things, it stipulated that: "Characterization of the medieval period as a time of conflict between Hindus and Muslims is forbidden." Under Marxist pressure, negationism has become India's official policy."

Hindu temples, what happened to them?
by oppressor on May 16, 2008 12:49 PM  Permalink

Hindu Temples - What Happened to Them is a book in two volumes by Sita Ram Goel, Arun Shourie, Harsh Narain, Jay Dubashi and Ram Swarup. (Volume 1: ISBN 81-85990-49-2, Volume 2: ISBN 81-85990-03-4) The first volume was published in spring 1990.

The first volume includes a list of 2000 mosques that it is claimed were built on Hindu temples, which it is asserted is based primarily on the books of Muslim historians of the period or the inscriptions of the mosques. The second volume excerpts from medieval histories and chronicles and from inscriptions concerning the destruction of Hindu (including Jain and Buddhist) temples. The authors claim that the material presented in this book is only the tip of an iceberg.

The book contains chapters about the Ayodhya debate. The Appendix of the first volume contains a list of temple-destructions and atrocities that the authors claim took place in Bangladesh in 1989. The book also criticizes "Marxist historians" and one of the appendices of the second volume includes a "questionnaire for the Marxist professors" that the authors sent to well-known Indian historian Romila Thapar.

who is communal?
by oppressor on May 16, 2008 12:47 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The Indian Council for Historical Research (ICHR) is a department under Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD). This department is fully infested with communists. These eminent communist historians of this department have authored several textbooks as well as books on ancient and medieval history of India and these books are full of lies. They have been doing this for decades now.

When BJP came to power in 1998 and tried to correct these lies, our secular politicians as well as all our English newspapers raised a hue and cry saying that BJP is saffronising our education. They accused BJP of communalism. But, who exactly is communal.

To know more about the designs of our communists and eminent historians, read a book with the title, Eminent Historians, written by Arun Shourie and published by several publishers including Rupa and Co.

Arun Shourie wrote more than twenty books on several issues in Indian politics including Muslim politics, Christian missionaries, communists and our parliamentary system. Most of them are published by Rupa and Co. as well as other publishers. They are a must read, if you want to know the deep-rooted conspiracies going in India in the name of secularism.

I fully agree with you.But we indians keep on electing such parties who are hell bent on destroying our culture & our religion in the name of secularism. Here in karnataka a person (read congress) has complained to EC & also filed a case against yediyurappa just because he uttered Lord Ram in his speach on the ground that it hurt the sentiments of people.I do not know what the court says about this.Whose sentiments it hurts ?Muslim speakers use insha allah in every sentence they speak .Christians use jesus very often .Going by their (congress)logic ,does it not affect the sentiments of listeners ?the paradox is the person who filed the complaint is a hindu.Such thing can happen only in india & hindus. The change in text book & distorttion is happenning sustematically & no hindu protests & this emboldens the minister who ,i learn, has changed his religion is playing havoc along with communists .

Good information, thanks. I have read Arun Shourie's "Eminent Historians". It is well-researched. His account and his analysis have never been answered by the Marxist-Mullah combine that is sitting in many New Delhi outfits, some of them government-funded. Their distortion of Indian history will go down as the worst crime against the country. The mindless English-language media are overwhelmed by the political correctness the Leftists have weaved during the last 50 years.
Young Indians must steer well away from the writings of these people from the Institute of Historical Research. Why? Because it is history with one agenda - a wholly Marxist interpretation of Indian history. False history that simplifies the complex experience of the people of India under their rulers, from Mauryan times through to Babur, Akbar, Aurangazeb to the British. It is easy history they wrote, without pain, of having to look at the moghul-era documents. Arun Shourie took the trouble to look at them. So did Francoise Gautier, a French scholar. The leftist historians ignored many documents of great revelations, because they did not show history as the leftist wanted it.

lies in textbooks
by oppressor on May 16, 2008 12:46 PM  Permalink

The communist West Bengal government explicitly issued a circular twenty years back that all negative references to Islam must be completely removed or toned down to a great extent in all the history textbooks of schools and colleges.

Accordingly, during the 1980s, all textbooks in West Bengal have been edited to remove or reduce the negative things done by Muslim invaders during the 1000 years that they ruled India.

Even some NCERT textbooks too have been rewritten with lies about Hindus in general and Brahmins in particular. These books talk about Brahmanism, according to which throughout the history of India, Brahmins tried to suppress and oppress all other people.

Commies also instructed that Islam must be projected as a peaceful, modern and egalitarian religion and Hinduism as an oppressive and superstitious religion.

the reward
by VENURAJA Bowenpalle on May 16, 2008 12:42 PM  Permalink

Why there has been no reward??ith this hotelier incident it appears that more persons might have seen this modern rakshas ,called jehadis. The hotelier was motivated to contact the police because he felt bad the blasts and death. Othewise people shy away from police because in search of some promotions they may even go to the extent of arresting the person who may have given the information.
I believe that some more personsmight have seen these jehadis and a reward of a million rupees might do the trick.
Mrs.Sonia Gandhi came had a darshan of Hanuman mandir and walked away without making any perticular statement. And central home minister who is too old to speak sensibly says that there would be zero tolerance to terrorism and some non-sense. There had been no concrete steps at all.
In hyderabad when there was blast at masjid police saidthey almost arrested the real culprit. After a few months only terrorists conducted serial blasts at two places and a third one was defused before explosions. This shows that police is simply hiding its face and trying to cheat the public. The real culprits are at large and police are not finind any clue at all, to arrest the indian local terrorist organisation.
All evidence point out to the local muslim youth who founded this jehadi organistation and blaming pakistan would not be useful.
Now concentrate on local muslim youth including university graduates who are now becoming sympathisers of jehadis.
