mayawati is good for 80% of the population..which is backward or lower caste.. but she is a thorn inflesh for upper castes and urban yuppies. She is analogous to Robin Hood.

Nitin, Nations are not built by Robin hoods. In the long term Robin hoods achieve nothing. Although I think she should get her chance to prove that she is actually for development. If that is the case I see nothing wrong in Mayawati.

Aks any Dalit who is sick and needs to be operated where will he go? To a one who become doctor using reservtion or to the one who become doctor with merit???
my 2 cents: If Govt really wants to improve the situation of ODB/SC/SC-ST then why can't they build a seperte institute for them till Std 12th and teach them free of cost. and enable them appear for the engg/medical/other professional exams. but there should not be any reservation in selection.

OBCs are the biggest oppressors of Dalits. 99% of people arrested in POA (Prevention of Atrocities on SC/SCTs) Act are OBCs. Why do OBCs esp the rich landlords need reservation? Because your children want to get IIT seat and marry a fair skinned girl and run some business out of public money with hundred dalits sweeping your room?

This MGR without asking saying that he belongs to OBC. Its not because he is supporting OBCs but its because the way he is speaking. Their minds are set and they can not do better jobs. Situation of these people will never improve and for the ages to come they will remain as the vote bank of useless politicians like Mayavati, yadav, Lalu etc.
Reservation first should applied in capital market, business, industries, defence, police, finance and food controll department, other depart should be free. President of India, Prime minister and all state chief minister should reserve for sc st.

I agree THOSE POLITITIONS/PEOPLE ARE IN FAVOUR OF RESERVATIONS should employ them for their offices and homes and , ONLY THOSE DOCTORS HSOULD ATTEND TO THEM AND THEIR WIVES AND CHILDREN , WHERE AS IT IS THE OTHERWAYROUND , WHY WHY ASK YOUR SELVES , top intelectuals are against reservation and they are not FOOLS , YOU ARE a bunch of idiots, favouring reserved ctgries

When a State Govt. uses his Police force for REPRESSING the citizens in a democratic set up, when the State Govt. is denying the existance of the Governor and abusing the Chair, when a State Govt. is subjected to strong comments from the Hon'ble High Court, The National Human Rights Commision, The Governor of the State, and finally the vast majority of the Citizens, WHETHER SUCH A STATE CAN BE "BRANDED" AS A SEPARATIST AND THE CENTER IS "BOUND" TO DISMISS SUCH A STATE TO MAINTAIN THE 'SANCTITY' OF THE CONSTITUTION ?
