Wat ever u say...i know one thing..in a democracy one has the right to ask the questions...and i am sure you and me are aware of a lot of issues concerning the nation now...coutesy Communist..it is said this nuclear deal started of in bajpai govt...but neither did i hear anything abt it nor i hear many people saying they were aware of it during bhaajpa rule...well done commies...atleast u made all of us aware wat r the things going on...guys think rationally i bet u didnt know abt the nuclear thing until those foolish commies brought it to the fore..

The country's poor has had to eat the chillies and face countless lashes thanks to people like left parties who allow nothing to happen including economic progress. How else can one explain the backwardness of West bengal and Kerala. Kerala will not survive without the Gulf money and as far as WB is concerned less said the better. At the nuclear deal will allow Indians to freer access to technology and ability to imbibe the best of knowledge instead of being isolated.
This Debt Waiver is going to bring Bad Financial Culture in the Farmers and THE NEXT GOVT won't be able to show Growth in the Economy due to these Waivers which even other State Govts of Congress Are doing.
Left is surely not going to come back to power. But Which ever Party comes to power next, It will be VERY VERY difficult time managing the Indian Economy.
Mr. Shenoy is so correct in his assessment. I hope that Congress is as smart as his analysis. As far as Marxists are cocerned, they are more interested in a power grab and have no interest whatsoever in the poor of this country. They would rather support the Chinese or any other tin pot butcher masquerading as a communist. The more appropriate terminology for Indian marxists should be DESH DROHI's. i dont know how can one label another person as desh drohi...either u r wrong somewhere or ur scale where u try to map their deeds has somthing wrong in it...regarding commies...i appreciate that they did something by asking and protesting...and made u and me atleast aware of what the nuclear deal is about..had it not been for these stupid commies..u wont have been able to know anything abt the nuclear prgram.....may be u r aware that nuclear deal was worked on by bhaajpa - vajpai govt ...i heard abt it clearly during the commies agitation...as per your satement of deeds by commies they are anti development..in that case the farm waiver would also be a negative growth for india though its a boon fr the farmers...did the commies oppose tat...but bhaajpa does it...why think u brainy guy...if they(commies) would have been as bad as u potray them..then they should be against the loan waiver too..if they are asking or protesting there should be some reason..

All said and done, the left are perhaps not fools as conceived by the author and riotously supported by many on the discussion board. The vote bank of Left neither reads nor reacts to such writings. The policy of Left to be outright against the US and west is not what kept them in Power so long afterall. Thinking so by their opponents as an election strategy may be too shortsighted and can only result gains for the left.

Assuming the first part of your conviction to be true, the left are clever and people from WB and KL admire them. Now, tell me what is brainless in admiring the clever? Everyone has their own preferences. Calling them names and giving them tags like these shows off poor sense of logic and ethics
Left front wants absolute power without responsibility. Kerala sent 19 MPs from the state to Loksabha and they did not join the government. If you want to implement your policies, you should be part of the government. If they can't rule, why the hell the people have to go through this expensive process called Election? Instead of being part of the government, they are providing external support to blackmail the UPA government. If they were sincere about the nuclear deal, why did they allow the government to go ahead with the 123 agreement or even the discussions with IAEA in the first place? They only wanted to blackmail the PM with the threat of withdrawing support. They should be taught a lesson in the next elections.
I think the left has only one policy... blindly oppose US and Western.. When computers were introduced in government offices, they opposed it with teeth and nail, saying that this will cause unemployment... Now their leaders are roaming with Laptops (and even bullets in laptop bags)and their offices are adorned with computers... They are more concerned about China rather than India.... They seem to live for the welfare of China and even decline to condmn attach on Tibetan by China, but make it a big point and call a harthal in Kerala for hanging Sadam Hussain....They oppose capitalism, but acquire crores... They have immovable property worth more than 100 crores in Kerala alone, but still they opose if a farmer use machine to crope his seeds.... That is LEFT which believe it is right....

Dear RC, There was a time the commis are agitate against the implementation of tractor by farmers and using of computers in business establishments. But now they feel all that was mistakes done by them. Like that the nuclear deal with US for our energy, is must for our nation's devolopment but you people can realize it only after one or two decades. The other day Comrad Yechuri said his party does not believe in interfering in the happenings in Tibet which is China's internal issue. So what about aparthied - was it not South Africa's internal issue? And why did he drag Kashmir in his utterings - embarassing everyone?

Can you please refer any works by westerners equating occupaation of tibet by China with colonialism? I think the strength of chinese lies in this issue that it is not to be equated with economically exploitaitve colonialism which they bore upon the world for centuries. So is the case of SA aparthied. I think one should find better directd arguments to oppose Left than these misfounded conceptions.
