I guess you are talking of Hong Kong dollars. Pakis are a miserable bunch, with its GDP one tenth of what you quote. Pakis and other muslims always try to exaggerate their strengths and numbers.

Open wars too expensive; proxy war is the best option for India also
by You yourself on Mar 14, 2008 09:11 PM  Permalink

Proxy wars are cost effective. Let a third party do it; we can support them financially, politically and materially.

Yes, they have nothing to lose other than their miserable lives. We should not be wasting time and valuable ammunition on those mosquitos. We should have a much better strategy.

The MLQ leader is slightly off the truth...
by Pankaj Mohan on Mar 14, 2008 09:07 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

India never had war on its agenda. It couldn't have had anyway. Being a developing and democratic country, the leaders had no other option but to try avoiding situations that might hamper it's growth. All three wars apart from the Kargil face-off were forced by Pakistan's military driven vision. They (the Pakistani army) had nobody to answere to, but to themselves. The MLQ leader is therefore, slightly off the truth in saying nuclear bombs have made both countries fearful of each other. Yes, both are fearful but it applies more in Pakistan's case, since it was the aggressor in most cases since 1947.

One more point, if somehow a nuclear war takes place, it would heavily destroy both countries, but India can still survive its aftermath...one doesn't know about what might take place to Pakistan though!

There must be a war between Jihadis and the Sangh Gang and telecast on pay per view
by Mahakavi jollydoss on Mar 14, 2008 09:06 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

India and Pakistan must have peace, but there must be a regular wars scheduled between Jihadis and RSS the rotten sh!t society and it must be telecast for a premium of $99 to watch every day of battle, and proceeds donated to economically disadvantaged people of all communities. I am the commissioner of this new leage and it will also be called IPL, the International polarised-groups league.

This Mahakavi Jollydas is not a less poet than Mahakavi Kalidas.
However pay per view at the cost of $99 will be more unless Christian & Jews terrorists also join the show.

by Hari on Mar 14, 2008 09:06 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This budget has seen 10% rise in defence budget.
We just cannot afford this.
There are millions of children going to bed hungry in both india and pakistan.
leaders of india and pakistan should show wisdom and reduce wasteful expenditure.

India can very well afford to double its military budget. Poor will not benefit if we simply channel more funds to them. They only remain lame, as we see in Bihar.
