India is a peace loving country
by mallaiah anchoori on Mar 14, 2008 11:41 PM  Permalink

War could never be an option between the two countries even while they do not turn nuclear powers.Peace is a thing which is being bought by India whenever the Pak troops instigate and intrude into Indian territory.We are always for peace and had only reacted all times whenever the alien country chose to disturb the tranquility.It is almost 60 years back that the country was divided on communal/religion basis and still the grudges,spite continue and issues remain unsettled mainly because Pakisthan does not want the fire to extinguish for the reasons best known to it.Terrorism is not new to Pak;it was on its full swing even before the trouble in Afghanisthan and it it only an eye wash when Mr Syed said they have terrorism because of Afghanisthan.It is some thing like attributing rise in petrol price for each and every thing of life.Sayed indirectly admits that their animosity with India still continues when he said that India is not seen as enemy number one owing to problems in Afghanisthan taking centre stage.He means that their line of enemity with India shrinked to smaller on account of the bigger line of Afghanisthan problem coexisting side by.In any case,it should be clearly understood by all concerned that India does not lack in any thing to give a befitting reply to Pak as and when situation warrants.Peaceful coexistence is our country's fundamental principle and those who attempt to transgress that and disturb would certainly be taught proper lessons.

World's most dangerous place: Pakistan
by Tathagata Mukherjee on Mar 14, 2008 11:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This was cover story of the Economist Magazine in 3rd week of Jan 2008!

Jinnah saved India by separating 66% of Muslims from India.

Now, a strong Govt under BJP will save it.

In a way true ..I am not saying it becuase of they are Muslims ..but purely becuase large chunk of the population seem to have very primitive thinking..places like FATA,NWFP etc..and have some dangerous ways of solving issues..i am not saying everything in India is all hunky dory..but definetly happy that Pakistan is not with us mainly during this time of India striving to be a progressive,vibrant nation..So i agree with Jinnah in a way he saved us

Mukhree,

World's most dangerous place: Punjabi's Mind!

Jinnah could have done us a bigger favour if he would have kept the Punjabis who were in Porkiland in Porkiland and taken the ones in India with him to Porkiland!

Stop dreaming! BJP is infested with Punjabi and baniya traitors whose only aim in life is to make money of poor, innocent lives in India!

India is doomed, nothing can save it!!

PAK is determined to destroy India using all means. They know that militarily they ar eno match for india and is currently waging a war using ISI and terrorists. India should take care of the problem by hitting the root.

The root that needs to be hit is punjabis on both sides.

These b--turds are the mastermind of this whole conflict!

I read a recent report that Kashmir is slowly
getting back to normalcy ..not to the pre-1987 Paradise Days but definetly better..Just goes to show Pak meddling is directly responsible for all the problems..Anyhow Kashmir under Indian constitution will have a vibrant future than being with Pakistan as you can see boms flying everywhere from Karachi to Kandahar.S

Yadav, neither I agree nor disagree with you;

It is Punjabis aloneon both sides before,in and after 1947) who;

Faced invaders for milleniums.

Who kept united/greater and today's India intact and unaffected.

Who lost hundreds of thousands of their nearest and dearest to give you India and Pakistan.

Motherland of who was partitioned.

Who had to accept people of different cultures and ways of life like east indians, south indians, north indians, sindhis, baluch etc as their compatriots.

Who had to work hard feed their above compatriots.

Who are still maintainig power balance on both sides.

Who are still defending their 'compatriots'.

and so on.........

IMPARTIAL,

You are a punjabi b--turd trying to get sympathy by playing the same old "We-Are-The-Victims" tune!

The only thing bad about all those invasions was that they weren't effective enough!

If they were, Indus valley and everything to its south-east would be paradise today!

You punjabi piggies always claim that you defended the rest of the country during those invasions but the fact of the matter is that:
(1) You selfish b--turds just aren't built for altruism
(2) All you punjabis did was cover your own behinds!

So please give this tired old idea of you people being heros and victims a permanent rest!!

1) it was the partition .. there are many ifs and buts there, which is not the point here..
the point is we are spend our time hating each other and thats the root cause of tensions..which is a non issue in itself.. i would never hurt an indian ..and so i believe u would never hurt a pakistaani, given a choice .. so why this animosity .. we are common people

Dear Dajjal Ahmed,
Allah is not the problem. Allah is same as God, Bhagwan or Waheguru. The problem is your ignorance that only you are the Allah's people and rest everybody is a Qafir and by blowing them to pieces you will go to Jannat. Please try to upgrade your medieval version of Islam.

All West Asian gods are jealous. It is only the Yaveh for the Jews, holy trinity for the Christains and Allah for the Muslims. That is the root casuse of the problem.

Where the mind is without fear
by Avinash on Mar 14, 2008 10:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow
domestic walls;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the
dreary desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought
      and action--
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

Rabindranath Tagore
