Everything Indian thing.
That depends on the client's security policy.

Police in India
by S Ray on Mar 12, 2008 07:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Is the police for finding the truth or hiding the truth. I really fail to understand, why dont we incorporate a law that ensures capital punishment for cops who try to hide the truth in homicidal cases like this.

And how dare government support such effort.

Why leave out politicians then? Why do need 'permission' from the ruling party to file a chargesheet against politicians? Why are we treating them as first-class citizens with security covers, free (and fast) tickets, VIP treatment everywhere.. when they are meant to 'serve' the people and the nation? THere should be harsher, more exemplary punishment for cops and politicians - the rats that they are..

Though its sad incident....
by arun patwardhan on Mar 12, 2008 07:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I read all teh comments were against police and their morality. Well said, but we need to understand that Scarlette or her mother were not a saint and equally responsible for teh horrific incident. How amother can let her minor daughter to stay alone in town and party so late in the night ( rather so early in teh morning?) Is it okay by british laws even to let minor wander late nght alone for drinks)

So The media and alert comment makers need to raise the question than just blaming Goa ploice alone. I am not taking side with goan police. They are culprit but not only

I knwo if the same incident would have happened in briton, Her mother would have been behidn bars for abetting child for drugs. and allowing minor with unknown company. Better read law of both lands

Rightly said Vinod, i haven't seen a man in my locality who is like what Lakshmi says. Everyone is so attached to their kids and family, it is hard to take what Lakshmi says. We tend to generalise very easily which is totally wrong. Sounds more like someone who has had some bitter experience in personal life

Sorry dear, it is not my brain that needs servicing. It is so open and free that it cannot accept the typecast version of male that u r projecting everyone to be. I do not know how u got this image. For your kind information i can say with confidence that hardly 5 % of men would have ever gone astray in their lives. You seem to be a typical tunnel visioned lady who is certainly going to be a pain in the a-s for her husband. I pity for that unfortunate soul. Let god save him from u

Well, looks like Laxmi has gone off to make dinner. Since I've not seen here that often, I was wondering that she cannot be a youngster, but probably married to a guy who wasn't home yet so she gets to use the comp. So that puts her above 30 at least. Am I right or what?
