The dull Indian Govt. (cong) to blame for its lack of action over a period of time - till things get worse and move to out of control zone. I guess the devil in India is worse than the devil in China. Prachanda is the shiny-new pawn in the game.
There must be something that commies are doing right. Once they come to power, people keep re-electing them. Even Congress has not been so consistent. Intelligent Bengal has been electing them again and since before I knew to read newspaper. Now it is Tripura - record 4th time returing Comrades. 100% literate Kerala has kept switching between Congress and Comrades. SO WHAT ARE THE COMMUNISTS DOING RIGHT THAT OTHERS ARE NOT ABLE TO DO?

Kerala is afloat on the remittances/deposits of all those who go and work in Gulf mostly in menial jobs, that is the reason why the govt in Kerala spends so much on social sectors. Kerala's better record in human development index is not due to any positive effects of communism, rather it is the negative effects of communism which forces all Keralites rich poor dumb and intelligent to go out and seek jobs in Gulf, Mumbai, US etc

the number one reason the commies could come to portals of power in nepal is congressi govt of india supportd by indian commies. socre another one against congressis on forign policy. this is huge one thugh. nepal is being pushed into china's lap inch by inch and soon mile by mile. soon china will gobble up nepal just like tibet, thanks to congressi govt.
No truly communist country has ever produced wealth for its people. Even the so called Chinese growth depends on the Western, Japanese, Korean Capitalism to survive and grow. Without Capitalism, the Chinese will fold will like a pack of cards. Capitalism and wealth grows from the right to possess wealth and CREATIVITY arises from the human desire to possess WEALTH. Creativity blossoms when you have creative freedom. FREEDOM is essential for creativity. Communists do not believe in individual freedom. The power is concentrated in the hands of a few RULING ELITE in the communist party.
Communists can thrive only where there are poor people. That is who they draw their power from. The poor fall for the propaganda, but when they become wealthy and educated, they drop these communists like a virus.

At home we have Yechury and Karat and their like and then outside there is this Prachanda and the Chinese. I am sure Yechury and Karat who laugh all their way to the bank courtesy the largesse of the Chinese Communist Party, are patting themselves on the back for Prachanda's comments. HTey are so happy now. THey may shout themselves hoarse over the N-deal, but will now be silent? I do not know how they continue to fool the people given their recent accession to power in Tripura. Such antinational parties should not be allowed to contest the elections.

This Prachanda guy is promising moon to gullible Nepalis. So far in last 10 years or so, Maoists have given them bandhs, killings, lack of commodities, bomb blasts, scaring away tourists and all other upheaval one can think of.
This is their standard practice of all these parasites, namely communists, marxists, maoists to promise moon while brain washing mostly illiterate, poor and weak populace while delivering misery.
