Say NO to N-deal! Wake up people!
by rama prabha on Jul 04, 2008 05:45 PM  Permalink

It is very clear to everybody now that the present form of N-deal has more problems for India instead of any actual gain. We people must come together and demonstrate a huge protest against the UPA Govt. and tell them that we do not want the deal. A nation-wide poll has to be conducted along with the parliament election to know people's opinion on this. After that the Govt. can decide. There is no harm in waiting. It is really a mystery why this Congress Govt. wants to clinch the deal so urgently. Only GOD knows. If we people do not wake up at least by now, then for the whole life we will be just slaves for the U.S. The South Koreans still feel sad that despite of having enough technology, they do not have any freedom to breath a fresh air. This is the strategy of U.S. and they want to make India also the same.

N-Deal
by Sanasam Juneshwari on Jun 26, 2008 03:42 PM  Permalink

I am not pro-Chinese or ant US.. If this deal is compromising India's independence of Nuclear research, we need further debate on 123 agreement.. When USSR avoid transferring embalm technology to china, China tried days and nights to find out the technology and they succeed (though at the cost of huge resources and money and time).. It is not that i am praising China.. but, fight, self independence of doing things, guts to do.. At any cost, we should not compromise our independence, but, find a solution without compromising importance.. We should debate the points identified by out scientist seriously, before going forward.. If US can play politics to India, why not Indian to US..

Get Priorities Right - Fight Poverty to improve Internal Security
by Jai Max on Jun 26, 2008 10:01 AM  Permalink

We must get our priorities right. For strengthening external security, what we need are delivery vehicles in respect of which we are already well ahead in technology. There is no need for wasting our energy in building more nuclear warheads. Our biggest problem now is internal insecurity which includes threats from terrorists of all kinds. The source of all terrorism is poverty. We must therefore adopt civil nuclear energy to help ourselves in our fight against poverty. If we fail to tackle the issue of poverty and be happy about making more bombs, India would lose out not to our neighbors but to our own people who would fight against each other to grab economic opportunities. Be it the Maharashtra Sena or the Gujjar agitation are all reflective of bigger storms brewing silently. It is time that we did something positive to deal with the growing internal insecurity by doing everything to create more economic opportunities so that people do not have to fight for it based on caste, religion, language or anything else that can be used to group graviation.

by Dwaraka Nath on Jun 25, 2008 10:51 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

LET US STOP TALKING ABOUT NUKE DEAL AS NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN. BLOGGERS SHOULD INITIATE DISCUSSION ON MEASURES TO CURB INFLATION WHICH IS KILLING THE PEOPLE. WHAT HAPPENS IF GOVERNMENT WITHDRAWS RS.1000/- AND RS.500/- CURRENCY NOTES.

1. IT WILL CURB BLACK MONEY (PARALLEL ECONOMY)
2. CIRCULATION OF COUNTERFEIT NOTES CAN BE ARRESTED. TERRORISTS PLAN CAN BE SPOILED.
3. INTEREST RATES CAN BE REDUCED AND ENABLE ECONOMY TO GROW FAST.
4. GOVERNMENT CAN MONITOR ECONOMY BETTERS AND ITS ACTIONS WILL HAVE EFFECT.
5. IT MAY COST GOVERNMENT BUT RESULTS WILL BE FRUITFUL.
6. WHILE DOING SO GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT DISCUSS THE ISSUE OPENLY AND DECISION SHOULD BE FIRM AND BOLD.

IT IS STRANGE THAT BJP IS KEEPING ITS MOUTH SHUT WITHOUT ANY COMMENTS ON HAPPENING IN THE NUKE DEAL. BJP SHOULD EXPLOIT THE SITUATION AND EXPOSE COMMUNAL TURN OF COMMUNISTS AND INFORM MUSLIMS AS TO HOW THE LEFT IS TRYING TO DEVIDE THE COUNTRY ON RELGION.

One should never trust USA.
by Dipak Bose on Jun 25, 2008 06:47 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What matters is the security of the country from nuclear attacks by China and Pakistan and India's freedom to develop nuclear energy freely without being a slave of USA which since 1974 did everything to prevent India from developing nuclear energy.
One should never trust USA. Who would be foreign policy adviser of Obama: Albright, who during the reign of Clinton did everything to destroy India. Clinton has created Taliban. He has asked Benazir Bhutto to send 20,000 strong Arab Army to Yugoslavia to create muder and rape against Christians and some of them later were send to Chchenya as well. Clinton tried to stop Russia to send engines for the Indian rockets and sattelites and imposed most draconian sanctions against India. The same Clinton allowed China to export anything it likes to USA but put restrictions on Indian exports.
McCain has close links with the US Army and Colin Powell, who declared after visting Vajpayee that Pakistan is the NATO ally of USa.
How can you trust USA, who wants to sell its junk obsolete nuclear plants for a fortune. If there would be an accident like Bhupal in 1984, USA will not take any responsibility.

How wonderful realization !!
Finally Hindutva has been identified by its own
followers with Nazism. And who is the Hitler of
India, Modi or Advani ?

You prove to be a true b@ $tard of Golwalkar - who
always worshipped Nazis for their genocide of Jews.

allright now do not say NO !
A controversial statement made by Golwalker was made in his book "We or our Nationhood Defined" which seemed to lend tacit support for the atrocities of Nazi Germany. He said:

"... Germany shocked the world by her purging the country of the semitic races – the Jews. Race pride at its highest has been manifested here. Germany has also shown how well nigh-impossible it is for races and cultures, having differences going to the root, to be assimiliated into one united whole, a good lesson for us in Hindusthan to learn and profit by"[1]

When Hindus of the region of Pakistan, Kashmir, Afganistan, and Bangladesh are genocide, or for that matter any native population by Jews, Christians, and Muslims alike it goes unnoticed.

But understanding the Christian religion that Jews are the Choosen ones, We can tell why they cry so much for them. If the Jew Dies so does their relgious faith. Hitler should be thought of another religious war. First in Europe it was conversion to Christianity, then protestant movement, Finially the relization of Past the glories of Aryans the inventors of mathematics, surgery, and most science, remember german science?

Yes, nobody cry too when most of the Aryans were genocided by the Christian in Europe.

Still I remember how mosses genocided all non-believers, espcially those worshipping the cow.

n-deal
by Guest on Jun 25, 2008 05:13 AM  Permalink

The n-deal must be based on advancing India's interests and at the same time protecting India's sovereignity at all costs. India can be a a big player and need not kowtow to any country, be it the EU or the USA. The n-deal must not compromise India's fullest independence. This is how china is advancing. Why not India. India must wake up. She is always ten steps behind. India must not allow itself by the West's flattery about its democracy and Gandhian non-violence, it must be firstly concerned about India's national interest. Every nation is first concerned about its national interest, including its foreign policy. The issue about the n-deal is, does it further India's national interests without compromising its independence. If it does not it must be abandoned, and India must pusue its own path towards nuclear and energy development.

no more Nehru congress..It's Bush congress
by bency gopalakrishnan on Jun 25, 2008 12:08 AM  Permalink

Left parties don't have any responsibility of keeping the congress government.
BJP & Congress are their political rivals.

After last loksabha elections,it was a question of who will rule..
The left became the decision makers..
It is a question of choosing between the sea & the devil...
And they selected the sea...
And the left support Congress only to keep away BJP from power.

It is for national interest that they supported congress all these 4 years.....

Not present situation regarding N-deal came because of Manmohan Singh's committment to fulfil George Bush's demands..
It is not surprising as everyone know that Manmohan Singh is a man who always work as per USA instructions. The best example is the 1995 GATT & WTO agreements..

If the congress want to sacrifice it's government for American interests, let them do it...Why should the left care about them anymore?

Congress may be thinking that N deal is the biggest problem in India now..
They don't care about the inflation, rising prices, incresing poverty & unemployment..

Congress really lost the tradition of Nehru, who is more interested with common man's problems than white man's interests

Internal Security is our biggest problem
by Jai Max on Jun 24, 2008 11:04 PM  Permalink

Just look around yourself and how life has become under threat. It is terrorism, communal tensions and class struggles that are going to make life in this country than any of the perceived external threats. Unless we are able to address the problem of poverty, we would be spending all our taxes on ensuring law and order and yet achieve nothing meaningful results. External threat still needs to be met without conventional war. India having nuclear weapons did not stop invaders of Kargil. Why do we want to sacrifice economic progress in the alter of the meaningless pursuit of nuclear weapons
