Fool Changez Khan and Mongoles were not muslim at that time.Kublai Khan was buddisht.It was during times of Timur Lang some of their tribes converted to muslims.But majority of the mangols wether in mangolia and china are still buddisht
People have a constitutional right to protest.Use of brute force by the Security Forces resulting in death of one youth and serious injury to many others is unconstitutional and outrageous. Kashmiris are tempermantally peace loving and hospitable people. Those who feel otherwise should go there, may be as a tourists, interact with cross section of Kashmiris and analyse for themselves the facts.Repeated repressions,rigging in Elections, political and constitutional manuplations etc.resulted in pushing Kashmiris to the wall which culminated in armed struggle.There is a saying,"People don't see who rules them, People see how they are ruled."More than one lakh kashmiris have been killed since rise of the militancy.It is high time that the Media and the civil society across the country involve themselves with the socio-political problem of J&K and interact with their counterparts there and come out with a pragmatic solution to the present state of affairs.Unfortunately they have not played their role fairly with the result that Indian public is not really aware of what has actually happened in J&K in Kashmir since last sixty years. The Amarnath yatra has been going on in Kashmir ever since the holy cave was discovered by local muslims and handed over to the local hindus,the Pandits. The yatra is being politicised by the Chairman of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board which is very unfortunate and dangerous. This issue needs to be handled with wisdom and not by taking positions blindly.

The problem of kashmir is created by few pakistani loving people their only. They unnecessary try to make themselves different than india. It is clear each and every state should live equally in india. If anyone dont like india than they can move out of it.

Very correct Muzaffar, people have every right to protest silently but at the same time if it becomes violent, govt has the very right to use the force.
Why our biased media is mum on this issue... This violance is going on for a week but rediff is reporting just now...I read about this protest a week back in GULF NEWS.COM
Government spents billions of rupees on Huj subsidy "WE HINDUS ARE NOT AGINST IT", but Muslims are against allotting land which will be used for the construction of pre-fabricated huts and toilets for the pilgrims.
Sad to know we Hindus are treated as third class citizen in OUR own country...

It was Jagmohan the then Governor of J&K who under a well thought strategy took out the local Hindus,The Pandit community of Kashmir fom their place of birth.Thus he projected the nationalist struggle of the people of J&K as a Communal one. Alas he succeded in his nefarious mission. Muzaffar Butt

Its not bravery yaar which makes them stay its only because other places are worst. They dont have any where else to go. In case of the Pandits they hand the rest of India so they made a better choice for their survival. Theres always a thin line between bravery and foolishness and when some one is standing on that line taking a decision is very difficult.

Its not bravery yaar. They dont have a choice becasue other places would be worst so people take up an option where their chances of survival are better.In case of the Pandits they had a choice of rest of India and they took it so that they could survive. Theres a thin line between bravery and foolishness and when you are standing on that line taking a decision becomes very difficult. I dont think that the Pandits are cowards

This is a white white lie.Almighty is a witness that kashmiri muslims always protected hindu comunity, treated their mothers and daughters as their own.Compare the death of 1,00,000 muslims who got killed as compared to 100-200 hindus since rise of militancy . When whole of India was burning in the communal riots of 1947 Kashmiri muslims protected the hindu brothern . This is sufficient to prove their non-communal state of mind.

Kashmiri muslims of 1947 were a different lot than the ones after 1990. Else we would have had terrorism before 1990. The pandits were asked to run aways after that.it wasnt the Kashmiris who made them run awasy it was these terrorists which included Kashmiri as well as the imported variety.

ARH dear, muslims didnt rule India because of coward Hindus. It was because of opportunistic selfish hindus.The same reason why British ruled India, because we were a nation of warring princely states both Hindus and Muslims, who would do anything to get the other.Its nothing to do with bravery or cowardice.Its called SELFISHNESS. This is not true.Please be fair. The price of teh comodities is as under in Kashmir: Sugar RS. 20 to 25 per Kg Rice Rs. 15 to 40 per Kg Wheat Rs. 10 to 14 per Kg Consequently the statement that the Budget of Srinagar city is more than budget of Assam shall also be incorrect. The higly deplorable condition of roads,drainage and other civil amenities do not support the budget theory of the learned Shekhar Azad. Article 370 of the Indian Constitution is the bridge connecting the state of J&K with the Indian Union. Once it is repealed/abrogated the state of J&K comes out of the Union!

Thinking of Military adventures against a soverign state in present day high Tech weaponary is disasterous for everyone irrespective of being winner or loser. India should behave like real big brother to all its neighbours and win them by love, magnanimity and fair play. The man made borders shall consequently become irrelevant and whole of South Asia shall become like European Union.Let us learn this attitude from them.
