as if manservant singh would quit
by Sameer Bhagwat on Jul 03, 2008 12:55 PM  Permalink

Con-gress and Commies can't hoodwink the people at every stage. Read Aleksander Solzhenitzyn to learn about the horrors of Communism.

It is Nehruvian-Stalinism that is keeping India from becoming a first rate nation. According to the contorted logic of commies, the fault is always with the honest, hard working, and non-violent people. The murderous naxalite becomes the "victim", ha!!

I don't see any of these Commie authors sparing even a word of sympathy for the countless policemen killed by naxals, or their wives and children. According to them, only terrorists have human rights!!

Since all the bright students in India enter science stream and go on to become engineers, IT professionals and medical doctors, there is nothing left for dumbasses like this author but to suck up to white man hoping for crumbs. Worse than a dog, at least the dog is faithful. These commie morons are the worst traitors.

All of you Rediff readers, please don't support Commies. Don't give any money to Commie "charities" like AID or Asha for Education. Warn all your friends too about these cancerous entities.

THREE CHEERS TO PERVEZ MUSAFIR

He sure took BUSH/USA for a royal ride.
Out of the 10 Billion dollars for war against terrorism, 9 billion were siphoned off by ISI/Army for arms to be used against

India/Afganistan (USA/NATO). So essentially USA is paying for the war against itself.

The petro dollars are being used by Saudi Arabia to spread all the hatred against USA/non-believers/infidels.

So USA is funding terrorists all over the world directly/indirectly.

Welcome USA join the club. Trust a muslim.

Can you trust a SIKH?

People are suffering from high inflation, unaffordable house price and rents, unaffrodable medical expenses, lack of job, farmers suicides, but this PM is not at all interested about these pressing proble. He is more interested to 'save his face' to George Bush. Thus George Bush is his real boss and Sonia Gandhi is his deputy boss but the people of India have no meaning for him.

PM wants to quit over nuclear deal
by Arumugham on Jun 22, 2008 06:51 PM  Permalink

At las Manmohan beaved like a Sardarji. He should have reacted in the same way when Sonia deputed Law Minister Bharadwaj to UK Bank to transfer money to Quottrochi's account. Then Sardarji would have gone on Indian history.

IF MANMOHAN SINGH RESIGNS AS PRIME MINISTER, HE WILL BE DOING GREATER SERVICE THAN MAHATMA GANDHI, LALA LAJPAT RAI, BALAGANGADHAR TILAK, BHAGAT SINGH, SUBASH CHANDRA BOSE, BIPIN CHANDRA PAL, JHANSI LAXMI BAI, NANA FADNAVIS. TANTIA TOPE, ALL PUT TOGETHER. DO IT FASTEST AND INFLATION SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY COME DOWN.

fool! how that is ensured by resignation of Prime minister. Please justify. Inflation is rising due to high fuel prices and commodity prices the world over. Even if BP comes to power this is not going to solve inflation problem so soon

Troubled PM!
by M. Shankar on Jun 22, 2008 03:50 PM  Permalink

For one so eminently qualified and well versed in aspects of governance, it must be quite an unenviable experience for Dr Manmohan Singh to be at the helm of affairs in governing this problem ridden country. Made worse with an inadequately bunched Congress in Parliament propped up by several idealogically disparate parties, thrown into an uneasy allegiance, to keep a marriage of inconvenience branded UPA running. Also, in the first place, thanks to Chairperson Soniaji's right or may be wrong decision not to be the PM, Dr. Singh came in, with the quite unnecessarily thrust image of a shadow PM of sorts, which meant his authority was considerably eroded from the beginning, with every one apparently feeling the actual governing was done by Soniaji!Though that may not have been true! Managing the other issues itself was a problem of sorts in these highly inflationary and difficult times, but the Nuclear Deal issue was always the Sword of Damocles menacingly hanging over Dr Singh's head, and the Leftists were constantly holding the gun (of withdrawing support) and threatening! Probably, quite unexpectedly Mayawatiji has fired the first shots and parted from UPA for some odd reasons - that is 17 down! May be the count down has begun. One can understand the PM's apprehensions and uncertainties!

But I am not sure at all that the right solution is in his quitting as PM. What is that going to achieve? Instead it will complicate things more for the "aam aadmis" over the next few mon

Communist ideology
by raj on Jun 22, 2008 03:47 PM  Permalink

Better to die with hunger & poverty but not work and earn money under a capitalist system. West Bengal is the biggest Example of Communist ideology where 60% of population lives in Slums.
