It is better Ramdass and karuna part . Both are entirly different.Karunanidi always wants everybody to keep praising him.He assumes he is a rajajirajan and the allies are tamil poets praising him keep celebrating either birthday or something other preferably with actress dancing kuthattam.Ramdass is different material.He thinks of next generation. He speaks of free education,teaching thro Tamil,compensation to neyveli land owners,Prohibition which is the moral value karunanidi does not like. Karunanidi has spoiled three generation by introducing liqur. He still does not want to lift it,though his first son is ruined by that as well many tamilians.karuna will generate more Government jobs.He is benifitted by this.Ramdass can not come to power by 2011 but can be a good opposition leader.Ramdass can not be happy with jaya.He is honest that the alliance is for mutual benifit and that is all. Karunanidi will take religon and caste card and issue emotional statements for his benifit . BJP will be his ally for 5 years and a paradesi once alliance is over.Tamilnadu needs a opposition and there is no other person worth naming than ramdass.

You mean to say opposing karunanidhi, Cutting trees,amassing wealth in short span of time as union health minister etc are good credentials and not serving for the welfare of the people. People like you who support crooks and criminals based on vested self interest are the main reason for the current state of affairs in India. Unless mindset of people like you get changed, crooks and criminals will get elected as MLAs and MPs.

I am subscribing to any of the above. But for an augument sake, cutting a tree is more than burning persons inside dinakarans office, burning girls in a bus or killing the fellow partymen and sooon. And cutting of trees have happened only in mid 1980 in MGR period and nothing has happened afterwards.

Many postings in this message board are all from Pseudo Tamilians, who enjoyed maximum freedom, maximum respect, maximum education, maximum benefits which was prohibited for Native Tamils.
Whenever DMK or PMK or any Dravidian party fighting , the mesaages will fly with full bandwidth with " You see, these buggars are all same thing, they are all asuras, good for nothing fellows, you see, I am a Tamilian but I hate all Tamils, " kind of messages.... I have few questions for them. You please think.
1. Why Rameswaram, the sacred place for Hindus which is coonected with rest of the country with Broad gauge network only recently ? (only during Atheist rule) 2. Why the HINDU IAS officers selected from Tamilnadu didn't do anything in this regard so far? 3. Why the BJP(Branch:Karnataka) is opposing the DRINKING WATER project in Hogenakal ? Is it not in India?

You have forgotten to ask why Congress-Branch:Karnataka opposes Cauvery water to TN? Remember SM Krishna's padayatra?
Railway development is taking place because of TN's representation in Rly minstry and it is not correct to link everything to everything else. If that be the case, you can also ask as to why nothing was done all these years, even though the aethists were ruling TN for a long time?
As a Tamil, I am happy about the development in TN, whoever is the reason for it. After all, that is why votes are cast for aethists not because of aethist propoganda.

dmk defeated kamaraj telling a lie that 3 kgs of rice for one rupee.Kamaraj being honest could not match dmk. He refused to match. Anna trid to rule.Karunanidi lifted prohibition and now there are more liq shop compared to tea shop.He spoiled the culture.Except for Anna fly over and fly over at coimbatur and one industrial estate at chennai karunanidi did nothing compared to kamaraj.So many dams,industries,Bhel,ordinance factory,neyveli thermal,Avadi factory, guindy ind estate,Thosands of schools, Thermal stations, hydro electric stations,colleages,Engineerig polytecnic in 800 acres in adyar,Pap canal and dams in coimbatur dist ,mid day meals to poor and what not.MGR brought TNPL,Mettur power project. If you compare dravidan parties rule to congress the dravidan parties did only loud talk.Useless guys

I am very happy to see this bit of information Mr. Milaqu. Though I am not a tamilian but I have been in Tamil Nadu for last 5 years. I have so many Tamil friends and I follow the news in local media closely. I too give credit for most of the development schemes in Tamil Nadu to Kamraj. I am told that he was a great leader. But I hope you wont mind my telling that, like rest of India, politics in Tamil Nadu is also dominated by people who enjoy creating hype. Mob politics dominates even in Tamil Nadu otherwise it wud not have happened that a unknown leader of DMK defeated somebody like Kamraj and also somebody like Annadurai, who was always busy in chewing tobacco would not have commanded Tamil people the way he did.

You are right. Developments are happening only in this DMK rule and nothing else. Whether he allows his sons/daughter that doesn't matter or whether he is favour of RAM or against that too. But just see what he has done for the neglected state TN this time is really great. These TN has sent out somany congress MP's and nothing has happened till now. Even Chidambaram FM, hasn't done even a small things to his home town except establishing his university. More than anyone DMK has done great job in this aspect.
Mr. Vivek Sharma [why use a North Indian name?], don't go about thinking that to be a Dravidian, you need to support people like Karunanidhi.
There is nothing wrong in what kskumar had said. Instead of facing the facts and rebutting them, you and your friends on this forum are simply writing all sorts of nonsense. Hate MGR if you want to, but you should realize that others have a right to their opinion too. MGR may not have been a perfect man, but he was far better human being than Karunanidhi. On top of it, he was a leader of the masses, unlike Karunanidhi who is only a leader of his party cadre.
PMK and DMK are both pack of garbage bags full of dirty filthy elements by all aspects for the nation at large...RamDo and Karu are not leaders but dirt pieces to cheat and loot the nation in the name of politics.
Whatever Ramadoss has done is right in his position. Even in Tirukural it is said that a Good friend is a person, who rightly points out the mistakes of the friend.. Karunanidhi only speaks rules and does not follow it..

Divide and rule by British - Brahmins and Baniyas.. Mantra made by all..What got nurtured..form the great Nehru to Karuna... they all spoke... made a humdrum about all and "Quavadis" as an INDIAN..
Lets start looking at a wider spectrum with our countrymen in mind irrespective of where they come from..Assam to Himachal to Karnataka or TN to Gujarat guys..

Political parties in India, of late, is the last shelter for most of criminals. So it is nothing unusual for any game of foul. Ultimately the voters are helpless
In late 70's heavy flood affected the life of ordinary people in TN. I was about 8 yrs at that time. I still remember the party workers of ADMK carrying rice bags of 50kgs on their head and distributed it to the poor. MGR ordered distribution of 50 Kgs of Rice, one saree, one dhoti and Rs.100 for every family.
The mid-day meal scheme was a grand success. Now all other states were following it. It all helped people to improve their education and living standard.
