For some killing huminity is easy !For they hv no conscience !
You can't apply your wisdom
You smile with empty eyes
You talk about the highest high
I heard you and now I don't wanna to hear no more

It's an automatic kingdom
A sympathetic tone
Why can't you be what you're supposed to be?
We're cold and we're lonely
Where's that open door?

Killing & religion that's why
Whatever you be singin' we ain't listening
Wicked mind loving tongue

Who are you to say what's holy
Who are you to say what's pure
You ain't sitting on the only truth
Tell me where's the God in you
Who are you preaching to?

Why can't you put you're pride aside
You hurt me and now I don't wanna hurt no more...

Deal .... and No Deal!
by M. Shankar on Jun 12, 2008 03:40 PM  Permalink

What would you applaud for louder and longer ... the world's largest democracy India not taking the Nuclear Deal with US forward, or the rulers at Myanmar not wanting to take up any of the foreign aid that arrived to provide relief to their suffering thousands after the "Nargis" holocast?

Political wisdom of a kind hard to define?

Democratic and despotic intents that go against people's welfare?

N-deal
by Tom Dick on Jun 12, 2008 03:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When the country is facing with rising inflation, basically due to high fuel price, the left parties should (if they have any love left for this country)think seriously about N- deals. Our ever increasing requirement is power and not bombs. We probably have enough of it. Unfortunately, we have congress (which has to dance to the tune of left parties) in the centre who cannot take any firm decision. We need N- power, we need six lane roads, we need better air ports and sea ports, we need mechanisation in every field but alas, left is there to stop India.

I appreciate the spirit in Tom Dick for his sincere support for development of india we need to develop a very strong opinion against the force and corrupt lobby within and outside the admintration who are defeating and sabotaging the pro people programmes like national highway plan and national rural employment programmes etc.

LEFT is WRONG
by Raj on Jun 12, 2008 01:45 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

LEFT parties are not only opposing the N-Deal, but they are opposing virtually anything that will bring power, prosperity and status to Indians. N-Deal is just one of them. Look at the way commies work, they have made W.Bengal the most poor state of India surpassing Orissa and Bihar. They just want Bandh, Hartals and will oppose Privatisation of Industries, as they think that this will project them as the saviour of poor. But Indians will not be fooled by them anymore, everybody knows what happened in Nandigram. N-Deal was the only way Indians could have gained status in the world, and would have done immense good to nature, and people and Industry would have prospered.

Commies are the likes of flock of barking stray dogs; earlier feeding upon dumpsters, dumping sites or garbage boxes. Now with their support to the ruling (so-called) UPA, these stray dogs are experiencing the taste of royal dish (i.e. indirect or vicinity of power and shining in front of media for delivering their nonesence communiques). That's why they recently declared -and reiterated the same statement after shameful loss of Karnataka from the hands of Congress- not to withdraw their support to the UPA even though UPA increased the fuel prices or pushed the N-deal through. Congress did not have the proper guess of the depth of the bite of these barking dogs and hence committed a national blunder. The civilean nuclear deel is but dead.

Nuclear deal necessary
by amit singh on Jun 12, 2008 01:10 PM  Permalink

This nuclear deal is quite important to fulfil our increasing energy demands.
But, this LEFT doesn't have anything to do with countries soring energy demands. They have thr bloody & non sense ETHICS.
This is the weakest govt ever & left is just like a terrorist organization, working against India's concerns.

People Criticizing BJP over Nuclear Deal are missing some facts.....
by Vikas Bhatt on Jun 12, 2008 01:09 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BJP is not showing any double standards since it has said that it is not against the deal but merely seeks details of Hyde Act that seeks to take away India's control of it's nuclear weaponization programs. What is wrong with that? Besides Congress didn't take the Parliament into confidence & didn't seek a debate with the opposition on it till it was too late as it tried to take credit for the whole deal which was originally started by NDA. In its original discussion the Hyde Act was not there was only included after UPA renegotiated the discussions. Also even if BJP endorse the deal with Hyde Act, UPA cannot implement it till Left Commie bastiches approve it so your whole tirade is misguided & baseless. Also one wonders if Nuclear Energy is such an environment friendly & the future of developed countries then why has USA & other developed countries like France, Australia etc not added any new nuclear reactors for generating energy in the last decade & a half? The reason is that Nuclear Energy is expensive, very expensive & one that can wreck our economy if we get too dependent on these countries nuclear fuel for our future energy needs. Besides the deal can only help us generate only 8% of our energy needs for such a large amount of money [that can help revive USA economy as their nuclear industry is stagnating & stopped growing] which is way too insufficient. We should work for solar energy for future with so much money at stake.

I would like to add that Congress on it's own is incapable of achieving anything. A simple example in Maharashtra - In Maharashtra, BJP-Shiv Sena Govt finished a record number of 50 flyovers and most road projects in 5 years and gave tremendous pace to Mumbai's infrastructure and yet lost power due to Congress mis-propoganda. Congress-NCP are now ruling for 9 years and not a single road constructtion, flyover or widening work is complete too date and most roads continue to be in various stages of digging up all through the year even as traffic has increased 3 times in this decade. The only thing that finished on time are malls and towers thanks to Congress promoted Builder Raj since there is money to be amde from Mumbai's real estate. Making roads on time is not a priority as it does not generate kickbacks to the tune of thousands of crores as permitting malls and towers does. No wonder we were so screwed up under 50 years of zero development Congress! Also even as teh lack of amss housing hits hard and prices of real estate rise by 500% in 3 years [Thanks to Congress politcians who are also a front for Dawood's money laundering and real estate sharks here]. UPA Govt which only talks of Aam Aadmi imposed Vat[5%] and Service Tax[5%] on new flats. thus making it impossible for hard working yax payers to buy a house given the flat rates, high interest rates, Registration, Stam Duty, Vat, Service Tax and Stamp Duty.

Nothing comes from Builders expanses who gobble up prime Govt. land in the name of Free Slum rehabilitation schemes while Mumbai is on sale for the highest bidder, Aam Aadmi suffers 5 hour nightmares on roads traveling to work with no place left to return to for a home.

Most Navi Mumbai real estate is controled by NCP Minister Ganesh Naik, whose brother Santosh funds most developers individually. Despite a property slump, builders don't reduce price as they are not allowed by politicians since hey can afford to hold back.

shame!
by Rediff on Jun 12, 2008 12:26 PM  Permalink

It's a shameful state of affairs in India currently .. the congress party and the PM has proved to be the weakest ever ! and to add to the crisis, they has left as the ally .. god save the nation .. Left is one party which cannot see any good thing happening .. not even to their own party members. When they had a chance they said no to Jothi basu as a PM. Clearly shows they are against even their own party member if any good thing happens to them. When they cannot do any thing else, foolish people, they will call a bandh in their states. Common people suffer even more .. the cost of bandh/strike is much more than what they will loose my decreasing the state taxes further on oil. In this current situation of oil prices, n-deal would have been a great help.
