Just why the hell are we so fond of another fanatic Islamic country which lives in the barbaric age. Let Pakistan do all their road works etc, India should pull out of Afganistan from all sectors with immediate effect.

We must have stratgic presence in that country to have a control over fundas operating from there against our nation. We must openly support U.S forces there.

its very important to have our "presence" on the other border of Pakistan. its also important that we be best friends with the Afgan govt and work for its stability, and the Talib's defeat.
Imagine what we could have done to the Paki's all those years in 60s and 70s and 80s if we didnt have to worry about the Chinese on our other flank.
