How can a Hindu be a fundamentalist? Does Hinduism has any fundamentals like the Jews, Christians, the Parsees, the Buddhists, the Jains and the Muslims. Even the Jains are asking for minority status and do not consider themselves as Hindus anymore.
See how USA does it goes overboard in protecting all it's citizen. Some people getting emotional and making it Hindu Muslim issue, but it is not. Peace is reqd. for everybody to lead a normal life.Spreading hatred will not do us good. I am happy to people like masood ahmad is talking sense and representing good section of Indian society. Let us not blame Indian Muslims for past deeds of all Muslims. Same if pakistan treats it's minority very badly doesn't mean we hindus should copy that. We must join hands and have more Muslims in Intelligence and police department to get good intelligence on terrorist from that community.

I am a 60 year old Muslim from Gujarat, India. Since my childhood I had been a stanch Indian and I dearly loved my nation. Mahatma Gandhi, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and Jawaharlal Nehru were my heroes. I hated Pakistan; I hated Mohammed Ali Jinnah and his Muslim League and cursed all those who were responsible for dividing India. I cheered for India whenever India and Pakistan played cricket or a hockey against each other and disturbed sweets in my mohalla when ever India defeated Pakistan whether it was sports or a war and raised the Indian flag with joy and happiness.
I visit Rediff.com to update myself regarding events around the world. The venom, the hate, the ill will, the contempt, the false allegation against the Muslim and Islam that I read on this forum every day has done to me what all my suffering, all my pain and lose in Gujarat in 2002 could not do. I am now totally convinced, what ever Mohammed Ali Jinnah said, struggled for and successfully achieved for the Muslims of Indian sub-continent was right and correct and what ever I was doing for the last 55 years of my life was wrong. Why would a man who was one of the champions of the freedom movement, a man who was labeled an ambassador of Hindu-Muslim unity by Sarojni Naidu and certified “secular” by non other than Mr. L.K. Advani give up hope on India and seek an a separate independent entity outside of the Indian union.

we have to condemn all blasts as 100 percent who are injured are good innocent indians majority hindus but a lot of muslims too no human soul can wilfully destroy innocent life specially muslims cannot do this and even if they r doing its unforgivable whatever the injustice they percieve we muslims should forgive post godhra riots and all the 100 odd riots after 1989 our prophet taught us forgivness his famous saying is jihad fil nafs and sabr
he forgave the killers of his uncle hadrath hamza whose liver was eaten raw by his enemies the greatest benefactor of human rights forgiving 1000 of his enenies after the conquest of mecca has no parallel in the history of mankind we are his followers let us be atleast 1% as forgiving as the greatest soul was even if my family is killed by hot headed hindus i shall not sulk or cry i shall think it was their sacrifice for the sake of peace and india.
let us hope after lacs of muslims are killed by only a few hard fanatics most ndians are very good some sense may prevail and the educated and just hindus wil themselves control the fanatics amnongst them
as a muslim , i feel very scared , - because of the actions of a few misguided indiviuals , the whole community gets targetted & i don't know where we are going to end up , just going through the messages on rediff board gives you a generel feeling of hate towards the muslims

buddy, enough man,be honest man , look at indian history we can see how much an islamic invaders has destroyed hindus ,Look at kashmir, it was a hindu kingdom was distroyed converted to a worst please in the earth . look arround all over the world muslim are trouble makers even now , i think is the way islam behave and teaches the followers.
One thing is sure muslims know to act very nice like nice people like Masood was trying.

India needs POTA to takle trouble makers my dear, In general islam is not fit for the nice communities and open minded people.
The 21 unexploded bombs found and defused in Surat (as also the unexploded one found in Bangalore earlier) might have been kept as stock by the local agents of the Pakis. But they were afraid of being identified and nabbed. In their panic, abandoned the bombs in a haphazard way. I am sure our investigating agencies will be trying to trace the source of the bombs, and there is a good chance they will succeed.
If BJP comes to the power, will all these problems be solved ? Even if Mr. Modi becomes PM he will not be able to solve these problems. Entire world is feeling the threat of Islamic terrorism. You will find Radical extremists in every religion. Entire system needs to be changed. Religious extremism, casteism, education and unemployment are the main problems. Upper caste people hates lower castes. Majority of us don't support reservation of any kind (female, economic basis or caste-basis). Today, we are bashing muslims, tomorrow we will start bashing lower castes, other small religions and so on. Liberalization made us very selfish and money minded. Entire family and social structure is collapsing, we don't want even our parents interference and we enable them to live in oldage homes. Situation has so worsened that we only need saint or great social reformist who can maintain the harmony and peace between all the religions and castes in India.
