We are used to divisions. if noting exists we create. within family, within street, between states, rather abolishing castes create permanent structure to protect them. we dont learn from our mistakes. within hindus do we have any coherence. we are divided within ourselves. does the hindus in karnataka, tamilnadu and kerala live with any understanding or humanity in between. do we have the guts to neglect the reservation system which divides us just for vote purpose. we talk as if we need some foreign hand to trouble us. first we try to destroy castes, divisions between us. we try to develop harmony between us. then an atmosphere will be created when the tags of muslims, christians, jews will be destroyed, only human will live.

Any reasonable government with 25% common sense (which it seems 99% Indians lack) would do the following:
1) Make law that no one will talk about religion or raise any issue in the context of religion. Every protest or discussion or argument should be in the national context. Automatically types like SIMI, any Mullah or Islamic politician asking for Muslim rights (as if they don't have) or special exemptions or for example obstructing govt award of land to any religious board should be arrested and summarily executed for anti national activities. Since SIMI has been known to harbor so many terrorists who have been arrested, the organization should be banned. Anybody breaking property or engaging in riots or raising slogans against India or in favor of Pakistan should be arrested for anti national activities and summarily executed with a bullet to head. Like Chinese make the families pay for incarceration and cost of bullet.
2) ALl mosques, temples, madrassahs, Sikh, Buddhist temples, Churches, Synagoges should have cameras installed to be monitored by CBI 24 hours without discrimination. All religious bodies should be managed by government representatives only.
3) All foreign funding in the name of religion should be channeled through government who will distribute funds equally or in proportion to population.

5) All reservations to be removed except for primary education and one time exception for each family based on economic condition.
6)National education should be compulsory for all. 7) Population control should be made mandatory for each family with automatic sterilization at birth of first child. Institute 1 child policy. All birth and death registrations should be compulsory.
8) Introduce Chinese style summary execution of terrorists and anti nationals. Police should b e trained in new technology weapons, given increased powers, high pay raises, new uniforms and bullet proof cars as in West.
9) Throw out all illegals. 10) Prepare for war as that is coming from Pakistan. Start building underground shelters and manufacture sophisticated armaments on a large scale.
11) Install cameras every few miles and in all cities just like UK.
12) Ban Quran or any other religious text that teaches harm against non-Muslims.
13) Prepare for upheaval. Nothing is achieved without sacrifice and now the sacrifice in sweat and blood will be more because we let the problem linger for 60 years which has now grown like termites do. We don't even have a record of who has come in and who lives where. We haven't solved the numerous bomb blasts in the past. Gandhian ways have achieved nothing. Godse was right. I would even make it clear that this is a Hindu country but we are truly secular. These XXX’s have been questioning our secularism while they gibe shelter to terrorists, protest too much. We don't have to prove our secularism to anyone. The world but it can't be at the cost of Hindus. This is their only country in the world. We need our Mecca's. We have the right to remove Babri Masjid and some other blots. Anybody who protests is clearly not an Indian. Muslims should have long ago offered Hindus their places of worships that were demolished by barbarians. If we Indians do not take some different action, we are doomed. This is a stupid way to live. This is the reason the neighboring countries do not respect us. We actually give a lift to the bad behavior when we ignore these dastardly acts in the name of tolerance. Mahatma's teaching although great is not all practical. He was DEAD WRONG here. We have suffered enough because of that WRONG teaching. Tolerance, forgiveness, etc. is a weakness of our culture. naivety of those who preached it. I can understand that we if secularism is to be practices d with any other faith BUT ISLAM. When US had declared war on Afghanistan, the imam Bukhari of Jama Masjid raised a cry to go against Indian govt call for support to US. He asked Muslims to prepare for a world wide battle. He called himself a Pakistan spy and challenged the Indian govt to arrest him. In my opinion each of the above qualified him to be killed immediately. By not doing, the Indian govt has sent a wrong signal to every Muslim that anti national activity is permissible. So either we take action or we should not cry when these monsters come out to kills our children in front of our eyes as they did in Pakistan at the time of partition. Howsoever friendly a Muslim maybe, because of Quran's & especially Hadith's teachings, their primary allegiance is to Islam. That creates a conflict of interest and makes living with them too dangerous. One never knows when that switch (mental switch) will turn on. Since Muslims are so violent and given past history when non-Muslim Indians were caught by surprise, every non-Muslim Indian should keep arms to protect his family. That seems to me a logical thing to do. Our democracy is already failing as Muslims are electing along religious lines and affecting every policy of this country.
First step should be to kill all terrorists lodged for free in our jails. There might be some innocent people also but it is better than all these innocent people that are getting killed. Only "An eye for an eye..." kind of mentality can work with these brain washed mavericks.
The so called freedom fighters r infact cowards who can just kill unarmed and innocent people. They don't hv the guts to face our army. Forget the army they can't even face common people like us (we will just thrash them).
Mujahideens if you hv the guts come and face the Indian people one on one and I assure you that "uske baad aapka jo hashr hoga, woh dekhke tamam pakistani kuttoki rooh kaap jaayegi".
These people can strike at their will as India has a weak policy to tackle terrorism. There hv been so many blasts, hundreds of innocent Indians hv been killed but what has happened? nothing except the idiot politicians condemning blasts, extending gratia amounts.
If we want to end this menace the Indian mass must vote sensibly such candidates who can handle these situations. Vote for Mr. Narendra Modi, get Mr. Pravin Togadia & people like them at the helm of the affairs and then see in the next five years atleast 80 pc of terrorism will be curbed.
A weak govt. makes a country prone to attacks. Destroy pakistan and bangladesh and then see what happens. The whole world will acknowledge as these two nations r a hub of terrorism. Let the children of our netas get killed in the attacks, probably then they will realise the gravity of the situation.
We need someone like the great Adolf Hitler to take the charge of India. Come back Adolf Hitler, India needs you. INDIA WILL BRING ITS ENEMIES TO ITS KNEES UNTIL THEY ASK FOR MERCY.

You must be a nut case to glorify Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler killed millions of jews who were no harm to society adn contributed to German economy. It was pure jealousy. Here in India, the case is different. It is the terrorists who are causing the problem. Let alone Adolf Hitler. Even if 11th avatara of Vishnu cant solve this problem. It is not that India never had a dictator before. In Indira Gandhi we had a semi-dictator before and it worked against us. With the fragile corrupt infrastructure we have, these kinds of blasts will be used to get political mileage rather than any action. These kind of blasts always work towards the advantage of political parties which are good at finger pointing at each other.
Unfortuntaely there is no easy solution for this problem of terrorism. Dictatorship may make things difficult for people of some religion but it will make things worse for other people too. First effect would be you will lose free speech on rediff. Remember Hitler made things worse for Germans also.

Also no more arrest of terrorists. Look at Israel - no interrogation business. Once they know that they are going to be killed it will reduce the number of people joining them. This is the Problem of govt that it understand the language of Riots, threats, hijacks, blasts, Stopping trains routes for weeks. If you are capale of doing that then govt will give award you by fulfillig your demands as at that time it becomes the national interest. Govt has not a proper channel where one can put his talks. So to make attention of govt the peoples try to follow the the illegle steps to do that. Either Govt must crush such movement otherwise it will be a loop hole in Democracy where these things are supported with warm welcome by govt.

Hi Lopesh, You need to understand it is not Hindus or christians or Muslims. I would say that Dr. Abdul Kalam is the best example of a patriot. He loves India and its growth. There are some Indians who dont behave as an Indian. I am currently located at Kabul, and every Indian at kabul knows who is responsible for all the terrorism which is happening across the world. It is time for every citizen of India to get united and fight against terrorism. Keep in mind " dont trust any politician" They will even sell our country, no matter which ever party he belongs to. Once again I am trying to insist to forget Religious discrimination and get united as Indians and educate the illiterates the consequence of taking part with violence. Please pass on this message to all my brothers and sisters in India, not to panic but to get united and spot the person getting involved in such evil activities and finish his or her life then and there itself. I am sorry to see that people take this opportunity to do politics.... First of all, its un-avoidable to have single party government......Why dont BJP & Congress work together to implement security measures in this country...I feel, both parties, actually everyone, is responsible to make India safer.... Just to reply to this BJP issue...Babar masjid, gujarat riots ...these mistakes ...dont you think these are the wounds that will be there in some of muslim communities for years to come? Who is responsible for this? It doesnt mean congress is clean..I am sure they have their own share...Lets not look past, lets look future.. non-violence, strict governance along with economic development - should be the direction of government... no politics in national interest issues like these areas.. I hope I make sense..

I was reading all these message, yours was one which was mature posting. There is no use in inflicting passion as it is further going to polarize the society. The future of our country lays in the unity of our diversity. The moment this unity is shattered, our decline or the fragmentation starts. This what this hatred people are inflicting on us, to shatter the very unity among so much diverse culture, language, community, caste and faith. That doesn't mean that we have to keep mum to these barbarians. We have to deal with these people (terrorist and their supporters) with an iron fist. Which ever caste, community, faith, language you speak or practice, you have to be first an Indian. Stop the politics of secularism and hatredness when the issue of national security and economic development. THis is my strong personnel opinion

What do you think government should do now? [both state and central]..and what do you think opposition should do now? I dont understand your point - are you saying congress is involved in politics? BJP never did? I personally like BJP's organization and will power, leadership, and I also like congress's passion for Unity, and development... but, both lack complete mandate, thus involved in such politics including gujarat/babar masjid etc OR congress's own mistakes....... They should just be involved in clean governance and Nothing else... But thats not happening....they both think about vote before every act..thats sad..
