Why the tape, given to the Speaker is not made public?
Trading of MPs for the trust vote on an unprecedented scale (in PVN Rao's period, only a few MPs were given bribe by Rao & Buta Singh), was a murder of democracy. There is a newspaper report that Katara of BJP was told that if he abstains, he will b helped in his on going case. CBI was also used to get votes. Sonia & MMS shoulod b ashamed of this win.

of course it won;t yaat. Otherwise, Amar Singh and Sonia's boyfriend Patel will be put inside. King is Singh will have to resign, and buffaloe will automatically lose his speaker job. So to prevent such tragedies, buffaloe is now busy with all kinds of donkeys desperately trying to remove all kinds of incriminating evidence.
All urncoats from the left are offered red carpet welcome to the anti-left camp. The fellow who was till the other day called all names like buffallo, pig and what not has suddenly turned a messiah. What a shame on left bashers!

reform in a week is it? Chornath will have the same fate as left bashers all over the world--YEltsin,Goirbachev,Walesa,etc--famous for a few days but not remebered after that
I rember that once upon a time Mr. Yechury was the main strategist & chief protagonist of the CPI(M) & the leftist line of thinking/action. And suddenly some time back Karat has appeared to be the main protagonist. Can anyone explain the reason behind this shift? Is Yechury trying to regain his lost power position?

This is because Mayawati prefers to have Mr.Carrot with her.
Sitaram appears feeling jealousy of the popularity Somnath got for his role during the entire episode of the N.Deal and the vote of confidence & finally prefers mudslinging against Chatterji, who by any imagination even in dream, can be suspected for such activity.May be that Chatterji had developed soft corner for Congress for various extraneous reasons such as the latter's no objection for his candidature for presidentship etc,but he cannot stoop down to such a level. It is however all together a different matter,if some staff of the Speakers office, without his knowledge, abetted or acted as accomplices in the "cash drama" for some pecuniary gains or out of their links with & leanings for those who wished the drama. In contrast to this,it is worth noting that Yechuri left for London on the very same day when the issue of withdrawal of support by left was debated first time by the party presumably with a personal difference of opinion AND he was the one who was reportedly insisted to qualify the name of Somnath in the list of party members furnished to the president, with a suitable asterick to the effect that he is speaker of LokSabha.Against this back drop,it is quite unlikely that he made this remark on his own.In all probability,he would have been asked to speak so on party's behalf since people are showering in all their anger on Karat. Trying to link other issues such as price rise, inflation, public distribution system & farmers'suicides etc is only a political stunt.
Khisiyani bilaiyya, khama noche. (A frustrated cat claws at the pole) The above Hindi proverb fits Yechuri so well. While the PM has retained his job,Yechuri seems to have received a real spanking from his masters across the borders for his failure in stopping India from signing the nuclear deal.
I hope the word Marxists is not synonymous with the word Mischievous for the CPM. This is what I think after reading Mr. Yechury on the involvement of the Speaker's office in money transfer.

But Somnath also mischiveous.Seems pocketed all the left overs roughly estimated as equal to Infosys one qtr. profit!
I feel that the Senior CPM leader Mr. Sitaram Yechary is coward and has no base to talk such things. Unless he has some proofs a person should not open his mouth. He makes himself a fool and degrade his position which he had built earlier. You see now he started blaming without any proofs and suspecting the money transfer to the opposition MP's is a responsibility of the Lok Sabha Speaker's office. Look this statement from this great Leader, shame of him. feel when somebody makes such statement the vigilance dept should take note of it and action to be initiiated against such persons. If found wrong they should be penalized attending next session of Parliament of dismiss the guilty. Then only these gyus will learn the lesson. Stephen Dias Goa

what you said may be true but why speaker is keeping silent on the whole matter and keeping the tapes under wrap.that he has publicly expressed opinion against bjp while in office shows his partiality. poruri rao

not mto say his opinion about the left. He is totally been bought over by croks like MMS,Italoano ,Rahul baba and the joker(LAlu ji of chara jhotala frame)
What a shame to the commies that their very own defied them ...and Dada why why did you fall prey to the design which is known as CONGRESS... First time I think in History the discipline regime of the Communist has failed(ofcourse not forgetting the division of USSR)and so too have the rightist BJP. But the Congress specially the Mr.Clean the PM must realise that he has lost if it was not for the 10 opposition votes. But will anyone even the clean Mr Singh understand this
In the context of the allegation he has made there is no need to identify hiim with a party affiliation. He is a Rajya Sabha member and therefore one of the leaders of the nation. If the press reports are true the allegation he has made is a very serious one and let us hope that he would pursue it relentlessly and determien the truth.
If such allegation is merely propaganda technique, he will use it in a 'low intensity' fashion only. He will not pursue the matter lest it backfires on him.
His allegation has now become test of his integrity. And the manner he pursues his allegation will show us how much water he really holds. Presently he is quite credible and infact quite likeable! If he fails to pursue the allegation, least we can do is to ignore him.
