Sitaram appears to have been prompted
by mallaiah anchoori on Jul 26, 2008 08:03 AM

Sitaram appears feeling jealousy of the popularity Somnath got for his role during the entire episode of the N.Deal and the vote of confidence & finally prefers mudslinging against Chatterji, who by any imagination even in dream, can be suspected for such activity.May be that Chatterji had developed soft corner for Congress for various extraneous reasons such as the latter's no objection for his candidature for presidentship etc,but he cannot stoop down to such a level. It is however all together a different matter,if some staff of the Speakers office, without his knowledge, abetted or acted as accomplices in the "cash drama" for some pecuniary gains or out of their links with & leanings for those who wished the drama. In contrast to this,it is worth noting that Yechuri left for London on the very same day when the issue of withdrawal of support by left was debated first time by the party presumably with a personal difference of opinion AND he was the one who was reportedly insisted to qualify the name of Somnath in the list of party members furnished to the president, with a suitable asterick to the effect that he is speaker of LokSabha.Against this back drop,it is quite unlikely that he made this remark on his own.In all probability,he would have been asked to speak so on party's behalf since people are showering in all their anger on Karat.
Trying to link other issues such as price rise, inflation, public distribution system & farmers'suicides etc is only a political stunt.
