Biman Bose comments to the media: “Just as Indian Constitution we have a party constitution. What the speaker has done may be right as per the Indian constitution but it is not the right thing as per our party constitution.” Isn't if funny (rather shameful), that a political party in the country (that we proudly hail as world’s biggest democracy) has a constitution of its own which is against that the nation’s constitution. “Communists “ what can we do? Or can we?
Soniaji was ready to sacrifice her government for the sake of country and took the challenge of commies head on. She gave a back breaking reply by winning the confidence motion. Now Soniaji without wasting any time should sign the deal in letter and spirit. This deal will make us energy sufficient to a great deal and take us to an accelerated path to economic prosperity and development. May God give Soniaji strength and life to make India a world power in the years to come.
Well Done Somu da...! Sir, The whole Nation salutes you for the dignified and responsible manner in which you managed the various groups of dirty, sick, unruly and opportunistic politicians of the country...! The commies are absolutely wrong when they claim that it is because of them you were granted the position of the SPEAKER....!!! Sir it was because of your ability, aptitude, capacity and fine gentlemanly disposition that you were selected unopposed by all the parties. You are not only the HERO of Bengal but the LION of the whole nation. The nation is starving for the dignified and principled politicians like you. Sir I wish you could be The President of India. In fact the Commies should be grateful to you as the party could survive so many ups and downs because of the great statesman like you who gave HIS whole life to them for peanuts. And these ungrateful characters have the cheeks to misbehave with you in the manner even the cheapest of the Party would not have done. Sir, The CPI or the BJP or the CONGRESS or any other Party have their existence, nomenclature and are able to function because the Constitution of India has recognized their identity and status. Therefore while serving the Nation the Constitution of India stands first and then the respective parties of India. As per rule on the floor of the Parliament each and every Member of the Parliament has a right to express himself as per his conscience. No M.P. is supposed to function as a BONDED LABOR.....(Contd.)

I am not a supporter of CPI-M or Prakash Karat. But what Somnath Chatterji did was wrong. Issues can be debated within party forums, but when it comes to decisions on voting in the parliament, it should be a collective decision.
At other times, due to difference of opionion an MP should resign from the Party and Parliament and contest elections again.
If our leaders behave this way, would it be acceptable, if an jawan gaurding indo-pak betrays india stating 'Acting according to inner conscience' would it be acceptable.

The party high command may issue a whip but if they punish any M.P. for following his/her conscience then The ECI should act and ask for an explanation call from the respective parties. The WHIP is like a Fatwa issued by extremists and fundamentalists in illiterate and undeveloped Muslim Countries. Then what is the difference between the functioning of parties in a Democracy and the extremists groups. The very purpose of a Democracy and spending Income tax Payers hard earned Income on the maintenance of the Institution of Parliament in a Democratic country gets defeated the moment the M.P.s are punished for following their conscience. Shouldn’t the Supreme Court of India accept this humble Note as a PIL?

Excuse me Mr Inder Krishen Wali dont talk bulshit, before saying "Fatwa issued by extremists and fundamentalists in illiterate and undeveloped Muslim Countries" you must Read about what is a FATWA Means. Than only talk your Bulshit.
I think left have taken the right decision though little late, maybe they should have shown him the door before the no confidence vote, instead of trying to persuade him. This will send a very clear message to others, that nobody is above the party(how big or small he maybe)and will set the example, hope other parties also should take lesson from this and expel MP's who voted against their respective parties to save this almost non functioning government.

Real democracy is conscience vote and expression. The Nation comes not a party or compulsion. What the Speaker did was right. We see a lot of clowns and jokers in the BJP and the CPI-M. Their attitudes and values are cheaper than vegetables

i not able to understand the CPI(M) decision..The same Karat said abt Speaker, Somnath can decide abt if he wants to continue or not and party will not give any instruction etc in the press meet..but they expelled because he is not resigned..not able understand the logic of COMRADES..
how much deeper will the left bury itself ????? they could have earned themselves a few grace points had they ignored somnath but then left is the left
THE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA SHOULD BE SELECTED THRU VOTES BY ALL CITIZENS OF INDIA. THERE SHOULD BE PROVISION IN THE CONSTITUTION EMPOWERING THE PRIME MINISTER(SELECTED BY THE WHOLE NATION) TO HAND PICK ELIGIBLE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES TO UPGRADE TO MINISTERS,IN CASE ANY ELECTED MP OR GROUPS OF MPs WITHDRAWS SUPPORT TO THE MINISTRY BEFORE THE COMPLETION OF THE TERM. THE VOTING FOR PRIME MINISTER MAY BE DONE AFTER SEEING THE MAJORITY(GROUPS OF MPs WHO MAY FORM THE MINISTRY).IN CASE THERE IS NO MAJORITY OF ANY GROUPS THE ELECTED PRIME MINISTER SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO FORM A MINISTRY WITH ALL SUPPORTING mMPs AND THE REST, IF REQUIRED,FROM GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS TO RUN THE GOVERNMENT FOR 5 YEARS.THE VACANCY CREATED BY ANY MINISTER WHO WITHDRAWS THE SUPPORT TO MINISTRY,MAY BE FILLED BY A PERSON(FROM GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS) WHO WILL BE SELECTED BY THE PRIME MINISTER. I THINK THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO HAVE STABLE GOVERNMENT IN INDIA.
Hats off to Somu da...! Sir, we all salute you for the manner in which you managed the class of dirty, sick, unruly and opportunistic politicians of the country...!
