Rajdeep...a very simple question? Good you do go by netas will and just do your job...but then whats your job ...to get a news and then hand it over to the politicians? thanks for teaching me the defination of journalism i always thought it is to showcase an unbiased truth to the citizens
I remember Rajdeep asking general public on the day of voting "Do you know what this N- deal is all about "? and kept on repeating this to many people who did not knew anything about it. After which he condemed the CPM for withdrawal mentioning that this is not at all a issue. My dear friend Rajdeep that is the precise reason why CPM has withdrawn support. No one in this country knows what is the exact implication of N - deal. Has any one published so far that these are the exact implications. US wants this to be a secret and our hon'ble govt has agreed to this. This is truly a national betrayal.
I think the channel has exposed himself and whole media, who are always running for half-cooked stories. Any reason, why they did not telecast it at all. Whose approval was he waiting for?
In India giving and accepting bribe is a punishable offence. Had the 3 MPs were genuine, they should have reported the matter to Police/CBI to trap the accused and make evidences like marking notes, recording telecalls of allurement etc. In this case, crucial evidentiary value was allowed to be lost, making it a nobody's case, except creating some sensational moments and denigrating the temple of democracy. It is nothing but POLITRICKS...

you forgot the way money went...its not like usual corruption where, the person givng the money is complaining. the person who is taking the money is complaining, so pls tell me how do we mark the money, or create other evidence. i do believe ur an Nri, as you are talking about informing the police...if police could be trusted with this kind of operation india would have been a bette place long tie ago...
If Rajdeep is a responsible journalist and editor-in-chief of a reputed channel CNN-IBN he should not state "I may have had a look". I think he should take a cue from Tarun Tejpaal-Tehelka.com.. One should take the onus and dont just be diplomaticc and pass on the buck to others. Such guys are spineless. They take credit for the good done and never take the bad name if it flops. The poor reporters of such a reputed channel cannot dare to act against the editor-in-chief. It is a shame on such journalists.

absolutely, he should have AIRED the tapes. I think your father Late Shri Dilip Sardesai, if alive , would have guided you to exhibit the tapes as a true INDIAN national, but i presume , you gave credence to someone "SPECIAL", who is to be benefited from it.Or u were scared that your channel might be financially effected ,if CNN(read USA), withdrew its support from your channel
My big fear is that tape may get changed. Now Mr.Rajdeep who is one of the top and brilliant jounalist of our country says that he is not guided by politicians will but my fear is that tape itself may be changed or tempred. If CNN-IBN is sure about its sting operation they should have exposed the culprits and his job is definitely to expose such crookes before the whole world. If evidence can cahnge in High courts and Suprme courts then surely it can be changed in Speakers office also afer all there also speaker himself will not take care of the tape. Had it been shown on TV Channel then uncertainity would have ended.Let us hope truth comes out about which I am really doubtful as most cahnnels are anti BJP and pro every one else.

I dont think Rajdeep is so naive to hand over the tapes wiht out keeping its master copy with him. So dont worry about the tampering of the tape. But there will be people who doubt even if the original tape is telecast if it does not suit their interest.
no doubt there is something fishy about the way the whole episode happened. and there cant be 2 opinions about bjp's foul play. had they truly been completely honest, they could hv gone to the police and recorded an FIR. besides there are several other things they ought to hv had done if they were really honest. the very fact that these 3 musketeers wake up right at the time of voting proves this was planted by Lala Karim Advani, Rajjak Nath & their Backstabbing Jackals' Party. THE PUBLIC OF INDIA DOES NOT ANYMORE TRUST LALA KARIM ADVANI'S PARTY AND THIS WILL BECOME AS EVIDENT AS SUNLIGHT IN THE COMING ELECTIONS!

here u r saying foul play by BJP, when BJP people were accepting bribe and shown in tv you apprecaited it. Now congress is involved you are talking otherwise. Clverly supporting your soniaji
In India giving and accepting bribe is a punishable offence. If the 3 MPs were genuine, they should have filed a complete and should have let the Police or CBI to trap the accused. Then they would have been believed for their honesty. But here, these MPs accepted the bribe and allowed loss of crucial evidentiary value in the case, like marking the notes, recording teletalks for allurement etc. This is nothing but POLITRICKS.

what crap!its a common knowledge who the police and CBI work for! if such a thing was done, the entire story would have been burried by now. Bcos it was made public in the parliament that such thing is even talked about now.Am sure, even after this, absolutely nothing is going to happen.Everything will be covered up and discarded as "animation" stuff. But the reality is,all in the world know how corrupt India and its politicians are. Everyone is after money these days. Those very few rare cases will also be easily tainted. As the proverb goes, everything is correct in Love and war. Now, add politics also in that list. People are dumbasses.India doesnot deserve democracy when over 50% of its population is BPL and illiteracy is very high.Everyone wants to survive and those who have something to survive are simply gready. Its easy to manipulate the vote bank based on religion, caste, region, language and above all, Money. In this scenario, what we need is a sensible dictatorship. Now many of you are going to pound at me for saying this, but I believe, Dictatorship by itself is not such a bad word. Its cruel dictatorship that's cruel. We need to arrest population growth.Eradicate corruption and poverty,Improve infrastructure, education and healthcare. If some honest dictatorship can deliver this,is it wrong? Iam ready for it anytime, rather that this dirty democracy which sucks!

Gigi Sir,
I know your Name has Philips and you will defintely support IBN, Rajdeep, Sonia and Congress and sometimes Communists or who ever will support you guys,
PLS come out of the Minority Mentality, PLS understand that Minorities are safe here in this country where The Majority is another religion. Not even in U.S a Minorties can have their Freedom, In U.S you cannot celebrate your Relegious festival in Public because most of the Churches protest IT, Whereas in India and go Visit Marina Beach in chennai you can see 3 Minority relegious meetings happening every week till 12:00 PM. At least edcuated minoruty community eople should come out of that Self Symathy syndrome and mutually work with the Majority relegion and engage them at apt levels, not by alluring on conversion.
And at last, Do you think a stable minded Indian can thin of a Genuine CBI Investigation, we have seen manytimes how they are used as Weapons against others by Congress guys, They are the ones who finished this Orgainzation and it has gone to gutters in the last few years/

You are barking up the wrong tree. One of the biggest fixers of Indian journalism is the man you are questioning. Please dont waste your and our time on this forum.
