Certainly this is a sad day. But to me every day is a sad day since the Hindus are persecuted, killed, maimed on each and every day.

Don't believe?

Dude, bengali and Kashmiri people two great idiots in our great country.
Both, not only lost their state now they are creating troiuble to India.

They need to learn from us the Bihari. YEs, we are uneducated but we never lost our state. Look at calcutta, it still little bit hindu because of bihari not because of stupid bengali.

Well, bottom line these bengali people deserved to be killed. Historically, they just paid for their action. But in future they need to unite and before they get killed they need to kill the muslims in East and west bengal. Story finish. We bihari will help in the blood bath, we love it, killing musalman is our pride.

CPI(M) leaders should be tried for treason!! They have destroyed Bengal and are dancing with their comrades in China to hinder all progress for India. Hopefully this slap in their face will make them think again before blocking something that is good for the nation.

It is time for comrades to be exported to the country and place that like and support. The loyalty of such people is in serious question and their so called leaders need to specially move out so the nation can progress and grow. If these turncoats do not go they will wnat to keep the nation backward so that they can exercise their way of disruptive politics to gueard the interests of their mentors and not our nations well wishers.

I must fully agree with and support the Guest in his views about the comrades. The communists had banished the word "God" from the Soviet Union for over 70 years, and an entire generation was blinded to any moral values at all. Thank God that Gorbachev dismantled marxism there, setting all people free. Sooner or later, China must follow suit. Karat and co. have sold their souls to marxism fully and are blinded to all good things in the world. Karat must know that despite his venomous campaign, this country rejected him and his retarded thinking. He must not fool himself by thinking that BSP,BJP, UNPA etc. were really convinced by him because all three of them had their own private agenda. Those opportunists also failed miserably. Mayawati has also fooled herself - whoever in this country would ever accept her as the PM - what has she done for this country - what sacrifice or contribution has she made towards the progress of this country. Being lucky in one State election means nothing more than a fortuitous fluke. Being a Harijan seems to be her sole qualification for her claims for Prime Ministership. There are millions of other Harijans in this country, more worthy, less selfish, less corrupt and Mayawati may never be even a minister in any government.

Democracy
by Dinesh Harappa on Jul 23, 2008 12:49 AM  Permalink

India is doomed. It never was a democracy and never will be. Congratulations you UPA supporters (I would estimate about 50% of the country's population) on your Political-Legal system, which is a Thuggocracy, Hoodlummocracy, or whatever else you want to call it. My heartfelt sympathies to the other 50% of Indians of whatever religion or caste or creed who have been kept enslaved since so called independence by the hoodlum congress culture, which is well entrenched in the country and now enjoys generous American support. To the UPAwallahs: So you want nuclear power? Well, thank you. Now, America and Europe have found a dumping place for their nuclear waste and this soon-to-be commercial junk technology. They can now cleanse the environment in their countries while India's environment can be ruined. Your children in India now will be born with birth defects and they can grow up drinking water soaked in and eating food grown in nuclear waste polluted soil. To the other 50% of the Indians: You cannot fight these UPA thugs by the passive philosophies of Gandhi and the current democracy. Remember he was the real culprit who started this congress organization and recruited the coward thugs instead of real patriots. He ensured smooth transfer of power at independence to about ten groups of Indians who went on to entrench themselves in India's political system. Try to form foreign-based organizations, which can identify and keep tab on each and every thug in this congress culture and

this is the last cong govt.it came in the name of common people but it betrayed it.look.

1. legal hoarding limit still kept intact.

2. record production of food grains but still price rising.

3. significant rise in price of all product's prices.

4.india is self sufficient on products STILL PRICES OF EACH AND EVERYTHING IS RISING LIKE HELL.

5.300% rise in house prices.
do not say that it is a global phenomenon because india is self dependent on all types of products.4% inflation is too much for europe and US .so do not compare.

horaders, speculators and black money is given full freedom by cong ,this is final reason

there was hoopla by western countries about india 's progress so that to create market while situation is not different from 4 years back ,even worse.also banks are becoming bankrupt as they have given money for aquisitions abroad.

the evil trio of fake and useless economists mmsingh,p chidambaram and ms ahluwalia have ruined common man's lives.inflation at unimaginable levels, tax on each and everything, real estate 300% etc.these should be sent to world bank or US.
AND CONG USE NUKE DEAL TO DIVERT ATTENTION TO ITS FAILURES AS IF NUKE DEAL WILL SOLVE ALL THE PROBLEMS OF COMMON MAN.YOU ARE A FAILURE MANMAOHAN SINGH ,ON EVERY FRONT.

Sad day for Democracy..that is true

The govt should not have been asked to show confidence in the first place. I work in the energy sector. I know somethings to comment about nuclear energy for electricity. The only viable and reliable source after coal is nuclear energy. Wind and hydro thermal are dependent on natural forces. You have no control over it. Nuclear energy not only generates clean power but is also very efficient. All these years, India could not afford to have more nuclear plants because we don't have reliable sources of raw materials. With the nuclear deal we get access to fuel from other countries and NSG and hence can think of building more nuclear power plants. People who blindly accept the words of stupid politicians like the CPI should at least try to get the facts before jumping on the band wagon.
The day that happens we would have succeeded as a democratic nation. Until the day people like Karat cease to exist it will be a sad day for democracy.

Uranium goig to exhaust in 20 years of time. India rich in Thorium 25% ( other survey says 40%)e.g under RamSethu b/w India and Srilanka has abundunt Thorium reserves. We have been developing technology use Thorium for nuclear fuel. Only Australia and India are very rich in that. The deal is the great vision of western countries. Nuclear Fuel Complex is working on very good projects and they are far away of the vision of western countries. So imagine their vision to bring us to sign the agreement. Who benifit of this agreement. The content on which we agreed upon is important.

you are right that nuclear energy can be used for so many things but India and the leaders are not matured enough to handle such source of power, they will abuse it and u will eventually wonder why in the 1st place did we accept it?

What makes you think we are not matured to handle such source of power. We do manage our nuclear weapons pretty well...don't we?? Today show in the parliament is proof enough that our democratic system is complex and has enough checks in place for any one person/group to abuse the power
